You know blogging is a strange experience. Today I was having some problems getting paid for a few things and I really appreciate my blogging friends. They seem to be there just when I need them to save my BRAIN

Now for the cool stuff Google is an amazing company. They are actually building a social network on the down low If you see the features that they added to the new Google Profiles. I had to use my wife’s name to get verified because the phone number is in her  name. You can see that Google is making some powerful moves all over the place . I always wonder what all 19,000 of those employees were doing all day.

You can now search Google profiles to find people who entered some information about themselves in their public pages. Google shows a thumbnail and a snippet from the profile, but you can restrict the results to a certain location or to people who worked for a certain company.

Google has a lot of cool things going on and they have many blogs that have a lot of page rank that you can add relevant comments

Another cool social networking site I came across called TAGGED has been around awhile but I was having some fun on there and it’s easy to chat and reach out to local people. Speaking of which, I’m in San Antonio and I’m not from here. The times that I had reached out to fellow bloggers I didn’t get much of a response. Sadly this town isn’t very net savvy.

They’re bringing in cell phones now Just kidding but I’m hoping to change that and invite people to check out me out and do some networking.

Another new local resource I spotted on Feedjit, that’s the widget down on the bottom of this blog. Well they have an awesome local features now and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to fiqure out how to click your way into some easy traffic I have to start making POTPOLITICS known in San Antonio

Well there’s alot of hot things coming for 2009.

I signed up for Photobucket along time ago and then lost interest quick. For some reason I found myself passing by there and noticed a whole new array of features. So  out of boredom I have trained my eye to spot easy ways to get page rank and indexed by Google. I know hundreds of ways but I like to find the quickest and strongest. Using photobucket is sort of a long term project.Google Images an awesome resource is known to take forever to index pics. But once they do it’s magic. You can get tons of the best traffic there is. People that are interested in your targeted keywords, people that are going to keep coming because you laid down a network of tags and keywords in your pics. Once the Google bot from images gets you deep in there it’s a landslide. You can start by doing a little  work now.
Uploading pics and all that tag and edit, stick the reworked pics back on your blog.  Add them here and there. This is a 3- 6 month venture. But it’s money in the bank. You want to go from hundreds of visitor and dollars a day to thousands this is a FREE and EASY way. When I first started blogging I thought it was going to be a great opportunity to meet some cool people and I have done that. I also meet alot of jerks along the way to be honest. Seems like people care more about their damn blog and their stats then people. Well this blog was always just an avenue for me to try to atone for my past and use this as a way to express my ideas and have some fun.
The internet never ceases to amaze me. The whole premise of POTPOLITICS was WHY do scumbags always get the money, hot chick, Mercedes and the good guy the dude that would have your back no matter what gets shitted on ? That is one of the mysteries of this life I’ll never figure out. I’m also getting ready to totally disprove that MYTH wish me LUCK *Cheer* for the UnderDOG

Tonight I left a comment on Entrecards blog and I always like to pop through there and see whats happening.

Well some blogger wrote a decent post about bounce rate. Check out some of the comments just to see how nasty people can be. I’m mean why prove your a jerk? Why worry about you and your shit 24/7 ?  What was weird is she has an awesome blog and the jerk talking smack has a dumb ass picture blog Fiqures

What I realized is that I have reached out and helped (or tried to) many people and the thought came to me that I must be a rare fucking BREED. I wanted to really get into where I think many bloggers are right now or will be- BORED TO DEATH

Yeah I don’t have to go to work. I can do whatever I want 24/7. I was telling my wife I need to do some traveling. I slept in more places then George Washington. One time I was going to write a post and tell about all the different states that I had sex in. But decided who likes a bragger ?
So I have been getting all these crazy offers to sell, trade links and I don’t think that is the way to go.
If I’m going to loose any page rank let it be because I gave away to much
You have to keep a look out for these seo dudes that work for companies that charge a lot for links that you worked hard for so think about that. I know everyone likes money but that is something not worth it. So I wanted to know what  people are working on? Yeah YOU…

I went by this little social networking site I put together last week and was thinking if people even want to be bothered. I don’t even go on Facebook as  much and the group I made called BLOGGERS got 50 something members. When I would reach out to all those people in an honest effort to just be helpful I would get little or no response. Hey if  YOU want to help me I will write back I don’t know if I have time to keep trying to figure people out now days. I often unfairly compared people now with ones from back in the day.
Ok now that I have you all bummmmmmmed OUT I have been checking out some awesome design blogs and once I get my bad ass laptop I’m going to get all into that PHP CSS stylLEEEE

Alright it’s so cool I have to tell you about it IT is brand new and called SIMPLYBOX it’s a hmm well it’s so cutting edge it’s hard to describe. An online organizer, a way to share stuff with people, I can go on it’s cool and well worth checking OUT I always bring the goods.

Like this Google has a site on the downlow that is badass > It’s called Knols and you have to go see it if you don’t know. I would say it’s a EASY way to get HIGH RANKING DO FOLLOW LINKS TO YOU from the main dog.

So that’s  worth checking out. Make a note of what they say about watching you at first to see if they can trust you. Once they trust you ( it’s a BOT) and you love PAGE RANK then this is the spot There is no purer juice then from the source itself. Just wanted to share some of my google news. A little checklist of some things that I’m doing and also not doing. I haven’t submitted this blog to a directory in months. I haven’t asked anyone to blogroll me in fact I encourage people NOT TO I have added maybe 3 to my blogroll since the last update.

The other night I caught the Google BOT on my blog. I mentally envision the bot as a helicopter that hovers over your site for as long as YOU keep her there. If you have what she wants she will hover and you can actually catch your information being indexed. Anyway I have been experimenting with all above board things like submitted post to social networking sites and that gets old quick. I may have to make a bot to do all that for me. I can spend 10 minutes writing a post and 30-60 submitting it. It used to be fun So I slowed down on all the sites like Mixx and Digg and all those. I bombed them all pretty good mostly with other people’s stuff.

In fact here’s a great spot for you to submit your stuff to the MIXX.

Do Follow and all that. Well I have been coming across some bloggers that are tired of the crappy comments and all that. I can see why they would want to change back. I was reading a very interesting post that stated dofollow doesn’t even exist. The bottom line at this point is I do what I want if I loose page rank that Google’s loss I will cry all day though

SEO - has been quite as a church mouse. The point is that no one really knows what Google’s up to. But this is what I think. I think there will be a Google Page Rank Update just prior to Thanksgiving. Google’s not stupid I also think this will also be a very liberal ranking. I actually think they are modifying the whole page rank system and just keeping everyone happy For now. What do the Google BOTS not know:) Hey send me my check

I just got a Google alert that this post has been indexed I didn’t hit PUBLISH yet? Just playing but last week the servers were humming this blog was getting indexed daily. The Google Bot herself was here everyday. At night many sites went to a no rank that tells me she is on the move

Hey I wanted to share a blogging technique it’s sort of like trying to foresee something like the upcoming Nov 23rd lame release of Guns and Roses New and their FINAL (I hope) album. All the FAKE ASS HYPE that people in the music industry use to game the system. So we all know that but as it applies to blogging. We can latch on to some of the information and events that we see are going to be HOT  if we catch and link it right it  could mean a few good blast of some free traffic.
Plus it was fresh off the press that the Blogger Guns and Roses hired jacked all their songs and uploaded them  and went to jail :)   Anyway the song sucks and you can listen to it up top. The album is a drug addicts last ditch effort to cash in on old fame. Can’t get anymore American then that

The man accused of leaking parts of Guns N’ Roses forthcoming album Chinese Democracy has changed his plea to guilty.

Kevin Coghill, 27, is accused of breaking copyright laws after uploading nine tracks from the band’s long-delayed album earlier this year.

He was arrested  in August and released on bail. He initially entered a plea of not guilty, pertaining to one federal count of copyright infringement. However, he has now pleaded guilty ahead of a hearing on December 8 th 2008.

It is still not known how Coghill discovered the tracks, which were protected behind heavy security.Maybe Axl was just so fucking high he didn’t care at the time.

Produced by Axl Rose and Caram Costanzo, Chinese Democracy is finally released in the UK on November 23 after 14 years in the making and the departures of all of the band’s original lineup save for singer Axl Rose.

Anyway Guns and Roses is just about as nutty as Yahoo I don’t get that company and came across yet another masterfull waste of their money. They seem to specialize in betas that don’t last and don’t make much sense with all that money and so called talent  they have?  Yahoo seems to do think that  old and outdated are in . Hi welcome hope all is well in your life. I wanted to write some news and share some information on what I have been up to. Have a few paragraphs on some different topics

1 Alexa: She doesn’t excite me. I don’t even see how it can be accurate. I do get a kick out of reading how bloggers say it sucks when their Alexa is 200 K and they swear it should be 50 k or whatever. But I do think I went from 100k to 70K pretty fast. If I was posting twice a day I can only imagine what would happen.

2 POTPOLITICS- oh my little blog how I wish I named you different. I can see alot of changes in how people act and treat you went they go to your blog etc. I get approved for ad agencies and the one I didn’t was because of the word POT,oh well. It’s weird because I had originally had this idea to talk about Marijuana laws and why making weed legal was such a great idea. But I quickly ran out of gas on that. So I have to decide exactly what I’m going to do with this blog. Any ideas or suggestions please feel free to add yours to a comment thanks. I was thinking to switch it to Drupal and add drigg to it

3 Contest- Yeah I hate contest actually, signing up for them and they often look desperate and get half ass bloggers a lot of fake stats I just want to give some money away So I’m going to keep it simple like guess a number and the closest person will win. I’m not going to have people do all that other nonsense So Friday I may have my first one and bust out with a Ben Franklin. Each Friday I may do this and think of different little ways to win

4 Theme and design- I’m anxious to get off this theme. It’s ok but I like to make em bigger and better and was checking one out today that is BADASS

5 Friends- For the last few days I had a cloud following me around. I should be feeling great with all the things that are happening and all the work I did starting to pay off. Well I wasn’t and couldn’t shake it.
So today I called my one blogging buddies and had an awesome conversation and then my other awesome friend was beeping in cause I had messaged her earlier to say HEY and after talking to both my friends I felt much better. I guess I was just spending to much time with ME

Today the question “why do you blog” and just what does the experience offer you is nice but I’d like to take it a step further and ask YOU -”Just what is it that you expect to get out of blogging? ” You can expand that to the internet on a whole if necessary.
One of the main reasons is I know from my own experience not having a clear vision keeps you going off course. Things do take time and goals change as we learn and see new things that peak our interest.
I think one of the most powerful tools would be for you to vocalize in a comment what your goals and aspirations are. When you do that I believe it empowers you to head towards that accomplishment.
For me blogging started out as a way to stay out of trouble. I had a long love of computers and the internet and when I came back to Texas in November it was just the thing to get into. I loved it right off the bat and enjoyed all the hours spent on the application side of blogging. The people side of blogging has been a strange journey as many ” friends have come and gone. I actually don’t stress these issues like I used to and realize that people are people and that is the way things are. I did expect to have better relations with some owners of some sites but often found that when people get a little notoriety they often become DICKS I don’t get that ?  I found the better I’m doing the nicer I become I do appreciate the few friends that I do have to be honest..
I have been able to spend a lot of time with my family and for the most part things are going GREAT:)
Blogging to me is just a ticket to so many opportunities some awesome some don’t work out but we learn none the less I have alot of exciting cool things coming up. I was taking my time and letting the wheels spin. I do hate to see when people turn on each other and back stab people. I would like for you to share about where you see you and your online activities leading to both in the recent future and in the long run.
I will be reading your comments closely to see if there are things that I can do to get you there a little quicker

Please feel free to share any thoughts. See I couldn’t control what happen when I walked by. Thank God nothing did other then their dumb hard stares to be honest. Fear is the word we deny. Many of us could be HIGHLY successful BUT FEAR keeps us prisoner until we look at the fear head on and that’s why I kept walking towards them. I need to look at the areas of my life that I still fail at and see if it’s fear, which can be corrected and challenged.
