I have always had a fascination with community and surrounding yourself with the right people, real people. I also get bored with the regular blogging process of posting,comments, think of some new post repeat… that I always wanted ever since I seen all the wrongs done on sites like Blogcatalog is On LIFE SUPPORT check their alexa , digg (DIGG IS DEAD) and other sites where the owners have no real interest in their members/visitors.
In an ideal world I would  like to have a network only the size where you know everyone and that would be tight and what I hope happens on DOFOLLOWLUV but on a bigger scale and testing various social networking  scripts on bloggerluv I wanted to share a little about what I thought about each one and maybe you will decide to add some to your sites. I can add any php script for you
I still have a copy of SMF forum on the original community page, it was cool and many cool bloggers joined but to me it was ugly and seemed to old school for me. Although I do like the fact that they offer packages you can grab to add to your site, sometimes a different one everyday. SMF has it’s uses but it’s easily hacked, the url’s aren’t pretty unless you do some .htaccess and code modification, overall I had fun messing with it and used it as way to see what people liked and didn’t.
I also added the pligg script to DOFOLLOWLINKLUV folder on bloggerluv, sites like Blogengage use pligg if all I wanted was a bookmarking site I would of built one using drupal not pligg
Anyway what else is on there ?

Grou.ps excellent script bad servers and support they won’t be around long from my experience.

Oh the BIGGEST disappointment GROU.PS << I was so excited to come across this so called open source social networking script. There was no real open source and the best you could do is set up your GROUP and then in the buggy admin area add a cname and HOPE it pops up.

What is really going on in grou.ps is you had some people “create” a cool script, get funding and now the main dude travels around spending money and time on his lifestyle and the servers and their support SUCK.
Sad because they had a nice set up and it was real easy to msg your friends, add your links etc, their script still runs on the sub community domain it’s slow and it’s a temporary FIX for now. I want to and already have DISSED that dude after trying to reach out to them many times.

Why site owners are often JERKS is beyond me but I hope they continue because I plan on being grateful and friendly and COOL with everyone regardless of their finances and religion and country,you can’t call a site BLOGGER LUV then be some snob jerk that looks out for other lame GOOFS and shuns cool people real people. I still don’t get the whole online psychology as I see my friends tweeting scumbags and wasting time chasing GHOSTS
Anyway I’m enjoying my life and finding peace in it all.

I wanted to write some positive ideas that bloggers can do, this post is primarily aimed at people that have been around the block a few times and don’t yet realize the true value of the skills they now have.

MYSQL : well even the basics helps so you can install wordpress FAST like me and knock out sites for  people but since many people that suck are doing that and to be honest it’s often a pain in the ass , as most people don’t know what they really want. So an easier thing to do would be to mack YOUTUBE, I mean come on with all the shitty ass videos I have seen from people on there mine included there’s no reason why you can take shit over and put a whooping on all the bloggers that are to scared to make videos. Once your well known you can charge the shit out of lame companies to mention them and give free ads to your friends :)

But even better then that is you can use the money you made from blogging to buy space on a server or better yet get your own server so you can learn programming and just kill time Blogging.

But even better then that would be to make a well known CMS or plugin so people will admire you a little but you will get a lot of backlinks and if you can’t monetize a PR 6 QUIT NOW

But even way better then these that have  been done a million times by everyone would be to STOP bullshitting yourself and THINK of the one thing, the one topic to write a BOOK about, I don’t care what it’s about.

Because here’s what will happen. Even if your blog and book are shitty like many NY TIMES Best sellers you will do well after bragging about your book signings etc, Look Americans must be stupid they gave Sarah Palin 12 million in the last few months and we won’t even mention the fact that Karl Rove who should be in prison is making MILLIONS off a shitty ass book written to encourage other idiots to be antagonistic to the government. Also since 73% of today’s celebrities are just ordinary non talented GOOFs that got lucky and played the game I’m telling you.

Listen say if you wrote in a notebook in the morning for an hour instead of looking to see what people that don’t give a shit about you said on Twitter. And remember you will go down in history whether anyone reads it or not >ONE HOUR a day watch what happens.

Unlike many blogs we recommend you don’t embarrass yourself with efforts to be some social media guru,seo or other fake ass shit if you promote PROMOTE if you draw draw if you write WRITE but whatever it is DO IT.

Comments should never be taking for granted. I often see excellent blogs with  little or no  comments, then you have mediocre blogs such as this one approaching 10,000 comments.

Also I often noticed  it feels like you must say the right thing when leaving a comment, I have seen where if you disagree the “fans” of that blog will turn on you and it can be pretty funny and Pathetic   Whenever I write a post I always do my best to instill the message that you can say whatever you want.

Surprisingly I have only had 1-2 negative comments our of almost 10,000, the negative ones weren’t even really that negative. Anyway I wanted to do an experiment to see the real results of all this speculation about the value of DO FOLLOW comments, also now I read about how a post is rank in serps according to your popularity and the quality of your friends, sounds like some serious bullshit if you ask me but I guess we are about to find out.

Here’s what I’m going to do

1 I will add this post to my sidebar and blogroll. You can come back over time and add as many comments as you want but DON’T use up all 500

2 I will visit and hit up every blog that comments

3 THIS IS IMPORTANT : if you leave multiple comments PLS always mix up your comment luv url’s, if you want because I often see people use the same one if they comment more then once, the Famous DOUBLE DIP

4 Also pls use the BEST Keywords for you and your blog, for example when you write your name in the comment section use @ then your keywords we are going to find out the real deal about the KEYWORD luv power.

I will mention one thing about that. I have a pretty common name JOHN SULLIVAN sort of like John Smith for the Irish, I often just use my name when commenting on blogs, I rank very HIGH for John Sullivan on Google especially considering there has been some pretty famous John Sullivan’s throughout history. So if you already rank well for your name you may want to mix it up with something your targeting, for example. I was having some fun with terms like ” The Blog Obama Reads” and other silly things just for fun.

Just because I don’t target specific keywords doesn’t mean you shouldn’t.

1 Say what you want, use it to alert people to your post. For Example : Hey people I just wrote yet another wordpress tips post etc

I’m already past thinking God would allow nothing to happen until His time disregarded that TOTALLY and I was going to dominate and destroy any and all competition in my way, either you were with me or against me. That’s street mentally and may of worked in the 70′s but the way people are today I’m left constantly baffled. First off I’m no expert on anything to do with links and am really writing this as a way to explore YOUR thoughts on the matter. With that said I have been having a lot of problems recently trying to keep up with deleting 100′s of trackbacks a day. I always approve trackbacks from other blogs that I know. I don’t ever approve ones from sites that are nothing more then  shaddy seo lame scrap sites.

One interesting aspect of these trackback links, or on some commenting systems  they are called reactions is that one of Google’s main criteria for assessing the page rank to  a site is the total number of links to the domain. That is why you often see shitty sites with good page rank they found a way to get many people to link to them. I have my own theme I could of released it and did other things like using 125 ads with my links set up right to garner mad links to POTPOLITICS but here is what I did.

The point is I wouldn’t even want HIGHER PAGE RANK if it meant approving tons of shitty trackbacks some sites may accept that (MASHABLE) (TECHCRUNCH-accepts  the most spammiest comments on Earth ) but when this site finally tops out on Page Rank I want to know that the links are powerful because I gave a damn

Every link from this site is hand crafted and everyone coming in is hopefully a good and trusted link. Sometimes I will approve comments to business related sites if I see it’s a legit business and the person is respectful about what they are trying to do. I don’t mind helping someone promote their businesses in fact this whole blog is really all about promoting YOU.

So what’s your experience with trackbacks are you deleting them or approving ? I need to further cut back on my bookmarking I now have such a powerful ONE click method it does to good of a job.

Do you think there’s any value in trackbacks from twitter etc? I don’t .The only reason I leave people’s Twitter names DO FOLLOW in the do follow comment section  is because I believe since most bloggers are PR 5 on twitter there’s value in that exchange, only time will tell.

But I will tell you one thing. When I was young I knew everything and was always angry, now I realize I don’t know much at all and feel grateful to realize that I need to make some serious changes to my thought process and attitudes. Sure I could of wrote some TOP TEN List of ways to be positive or something like that. But I will just say I have  read all kinds of  stuff  like that and the changes were temporary at best.

The biggest thing I have learned so far  is if you don’t see the problem you definitely won’t see the solution, there’s a lot of Freedom in that.
