When I first started blogging I thought it was going to be a great opportunity to meet some cool people and I have done that. I also meet alot of jerks along the way to be honest. Seems like people care more about their damn blog and their stats then people. Well this blog was always just an avenue for me to try to atone for my past and use this as a way to express my ideas and have some fun.
The internet never ceases to amaze me. The whole premise of POTPOLITICS was WHY do scumbags always get the money, hot chick, Mercedes and the good guy the dude that would have your back no matter what gets shitted on ? That is one of the mysteries of this life I’ll never figure out. I’m also getting ready to totally disprove that MYTH wish me LUCK *Cheer* for the UnderDOG

Tonight I left a comment on Entrecards blog and I always like to pop through there and see whats happening.

Well some blogger wrote a decent post about bounce rate. Check out some of the comments just to see how nasty people can be. I’m mean why prove your a jerk? Why worry about you and your shit 24/7 ?  What was weird is she has an awesome blog and the jerk talking smack has a dumb ass picture blog Fiqures

What I realized is that I have reached out and helped (or tried to) many people and the thought came to me that I must be a rare fucking BREED. I wanted to really get into where I think many bloggers are right now or will be- BORED TO DEATH

Yeah I don’t have to go to work. I can do whatever I want 24/7. I was telling my wife I need to do some traveling. I slept in more places then George Washington. One time I was going to write a post and tell about all the different states that I had sex in. But decided who likes a bragger ?
So I have been getting all these crazy offers to sell, trade links and I don’t think that is the way to go.
If I’m going to loose any page rank let it be because I gave away to much
You have to keep a look out for these seo dudes that work for companies that charge a lot for links that you worked hard for so think about that. I know everyone likes money but that is something not worth it. So I wanted to know what  people are working on? Yeah YOU…

I went by this little social networking site I put together last week and was thinking if people even want to be bothered. I don’t even go on Facebook as  much and the group I made called BLOGGERS got 50 something members. When I would reach out to all those people in an honest effort to just be helpful I would get little or no response. Hey if  YOU want to help me I will write back I don’t know if I have time to keep trying to figure people out now days. I often unfairly compared people now with ones from back in the day.
Ok now that I have you all bummmmmmmed OUT I have been checking out some awesome design blogs and once I get my bad ass laptop I’m going to get all into that PHP CSS stylLEEEE

Hi welcome hope all is well in your life. I wanted to write some news and share some information on what I have been up to. Have a few paragraphs on some different topics

1 Alexa: She doesn’t excite me. I don’t even see how it can be accurate. I do get a kick out of reading how bloggers say it sucks when their Alexa is 200 K and they swear it should be 50 k or whatever. But I do think I went from 100k to 70K pretty fast. If I was posting twice a day I can only imagine what would happen.

2 POTPOLITICS- oh my little blog how I wish I named you different. I can see alot of changes in how people act and treat you went they go to your blog etc. I get approved for ad agencies and the one I didn’t was because of the word POT,oh well. It’s weird because I had originally had this idea to talk about Marijuana laws and why making weed legal was such a great idea. But I quickly ran out of gas on that. So I have to decide exactly what I’m going to do with this blog. Any ideas or suggestions please feel free to add yours to a comment thanks. I was thinking to switch it to Drupal and add drigg to it

3 Contest- Yeah I hate contest actually, signing up for them and they often look desperate and get half ass bloggers a lot of fake stats I just want to give some money away So I’m going to keep it simple like guess a number and the closest person will win. I’m not going to have people do all that other nonsense So Friday I may have my first one and bust out with a Ben Franklin. Each Friday I may do this and think of different little ways to win

5 Friends- For the last few days I had a cloud following me around. I should be feeling great with all the things that are happening and all the work I did starting to pay off. Well I wasn’t and couldn’t shake it.
So today I called my one blogging buddies and had an awesome conversation and then my other awesome friend was beeping in cause I had messaged her earlier to say HEY and after talking to both my friends I felt much better. I guess I was just spending to much time with ME

Today the question “why do you blog” and just what does the experience offer you is nice but I’d like to take it a step further and ask YOU -”Just what is it that you expect to get out of blogging? ” You can expand that to the internet on a whole if necessary.
One of the main reasons is I know from my own experience not having a clear vision keeps you going off course. Things do take time and goals change as we learn and see new things that peak our interest.
I think one of the most powerful tools would be for you to vocalize in a comment what your goals and aspirations are. When you do that I believe it empowers you to head towards that accomplishment.
For me blogging started out as a way to stay out of trouble. I had a long love of computers and the internet and when I came back to Texas in November it was just the thing to get into. I loved it right off the bat and enjoyed all the hours spent on the application side of blogging. The people side of blogging has been a strange journey as many ” friends have come and gone. I actually don’t stress these issues like I used to and realize that people are people and that is the way things are. I did expect to have better relations with some owners of some sites but often found that when people get a little notoriety they often become DICKS I don’t get that ?  I found the better I’m doing the nicer I become I do appreciate the few friends that I do have to be honest..
I have been able to spend a lot of time with my family and for the most part things are going GREAT:)
Blogging to me is just a ticket to so many opportunities some awesome some don’t work out but we learn none the less I have alot of exciting cool things coming up. I was taking my time and letting the wheels spin. I do hate to see when people turn on each other and back stab people. I would like for you to share about where you see you and your online activities leading to both in the recent future and in the long run.
I will be reading your comments closely to see if there are things that I can do to get you there a little quicker

I thought I was ready to start writing some things from the past and start writing about some things that I have learned in life but I guess I’m not quite ready yet. But I felt such strong emotion as I watched this video and stared at the screen debating what to write. So I’ll just give you some notes
on what I was thinking. Recognizing these things is key because we are often our own worse enemy.

I wanted to write about some of the things that I had experienced many years ago and for the most part kept well hidden. Some of you may know that I’m white and live in an environment that has no whites and is dangerous at times. Tonight just to go to the store I was reminded of tactics I used to have to use to survived in NYC as a kid. I was what was called a “throw away” ” run away” kid basically a smart mouth punk who did whatever he wanted since age 11. My son Daniel is 10 feet away from me right now  and he is 11.
I don’t tell him much about any bad things. I do tell him I had my own car and a pack of smokes at his age. Man I lived a hard life compared to most but surprisingly I’m at a good peaceful place. I’m 43 and starting to realize time is moving fast.
What’s strange about tonight is I was watching TV and thinking I’d be nice and run up the street to this taco stand to get my wife and son some tacos and share the love. Well as I left I noticed the gang banger jerk outside with his “buddy”. I ignored them and off I went. I knew  when there was two of them they   would probably not say anything. I got the food and went to the store my wife works at to get my free super size coffee and when I walk in I see Spanky has a few more of his gang buddies in tow.

I make my coffee they all leave before me  and I can see across the road where I have to go they’re  all standing there in front of the building. If you know Mexican food you might know the BIG ass Coke Bottles they sell in Mexico, well I bought my wife one at the taco truck and as I’m crossing the road towards the crew of Bloods or whatever they are. I’m thinking damn I can’t back down now. I’m thinking fuck them if they jump me I’m going to get the one that is my neighbor the one standing there with a blunt and trying to look all hard with his fucking friends. As I walked across the road and could see it was them I repositioned that coke bottle in my right hand and had a 44oz steaming hot coffee in my left. Thank God I had some good smoke to cool my nerve, so I just walked by. Now you may be thinking ok move somewhere else dude :)   Well when I was my son’s age my father was murdered by 5 Spanish guys and I was thinking about that. See these guys are the type to make their move when they’re 5 deep but they don’t know one thing. I have alot of experience defending myself against a group of punks like that. Anyway I do hope to move eventually and I’m glad they kept their mouth shut but it brought back alot of memories. I know how much I lost not having a father and I don’t want to do that to my son.

Please feel free to share any thoughts. See I couldn’t control what happen when I walked by. Thank God nothing did other then their dumb hard stares to be honest. Fear is the word we deny. Many of us could be HIGHLY successful BUT FEAR keeps us prisoner until we look at the fear head on and that’s why I kept walking towards them. I need to look at the areas of my life that I still fail at and see if it’s fear, which can be corrected and challenged.
