Bloggers need to start Crews

How I am Blogging Now :)
my blogging crew
Growing up in NYC I have come across all kinds of crews in my day. One kind of crew I was thinking about and one that I think could help bloggers is if they started making and joining Crews.
Common backrounds, styles, niches, or like my current real crew me and a bunch of WOMEN :)
There is power in numbers and it feels good to be apart of something. I remember many years ago on AOL I was a member of a well known software pirating Crew and I enjoyed the people I met and we had a lot of fun.
blogging community
It was nice when you had first dibs on tools to PUNT people off line, Over head accts and all kinds of cool THINGS :) Yes I was thinking if bloggers are followers or leaders and if I was a up and coming blogger right now TODAY I would grab my tightest blogging friend and start some crazy named Blogging Crew :)
Page Rank Posse or something like that and we would all have badges and our own blog and forum and all kinds of things each of us can add to the group.
The biggest problem I STILL see in blogging is this I have to do it on my own, let me friend everyone on the PLANET as if that will work and visit everywhere and all that played out routine.
Just like Local is the next BIG Thang Groups and POWERFUL ones at that will be the NEXT thing in Blogging. Personally I don’t like rules and think to many people are takers and not givers so a crew to me is unecessary cause I am my own damn CREW LOL just kidding but I guess I already have the BADDEST and BEST Blogging crew on the PLANET at BloggerLUV obviously but I think it would be FUN and worth the effort for people to start busting out with Crews and LOGOS and start representing what they are About :)
The Group I was in on AOL was world known and you didn’t just pop up on the rooster you had to work your way up and share and get in tight with the right people now I don’t like Cliques per se but I see they can be a powerful force if used right.
In reality you really only need one REAL good partner I had where I worked with just one other blogger and we rocked shit and GOT PAID imagine 15 of us day in day out. The main threat to blogging is our ties aren’t very strong sure we all want tight partners but are we doing and learning what it takes to be a good partner? If you look back in blogging history all the HOOK UPS and people who got rich came from their FRIENDS and one friend made a difference. Often sites like twitter carry tons of GOOFS just because Bill was there for me back when I just had change for coffee, being in the right crew can change your LIFE :)
What do you think ?
Would you join a blogging Crew ?
what kind would you join and or start ? Thanks :)

I would join a crew if we all had the same goals and wanted to help one another with blogging. I think Bloggerluv is a great group to belong to already. As I am new to blogging I would have to be one of the followers except if I am talking about my chosen niche. Great idea John and hope you are doing okay.

Simple post but brilliant John. I think the hardest part is getting a group with similar interests. BL for instance is great to get to know other people who are all looking for results with their own sites and willing to share generously to help each other achieve that. But, for long term success, we really need to share the same interests beyond that. We need to be building sites with similar themes for instance. Then you could build a tight and powerful crew just like the heavy internet marketing crew of Pagan, Kern, Filsame, Deiss, Walker, Koenigs, etc.. I probably spelled half of those names wrong..Sorry.
