in New Orleans

When any relationship or friendship or business relationship ends and when you get to the point where you know you deserve better WAY better it can be a VERY exciting time. I am so serious about ensuring the success of whatever years I have left on this PLANET I decided to leave all my well deserved hatred behind. Why go to a new place and most of your conversation is San Antonio sucks etc hey I know that and it would be best to keep all that to myself when I approach a new city that is about to get DOMINATED :)
Lat night I was reading on Craigslist all the web related jobs in New Orleans, I was reading how reasonable some rooms are and many include WIFI. I personally don’t care if I have to sleep behind a Pizza Shop or wherever I get work at for a week it won’t matter to me.
Diversity of culture to me is awesome and one of the reasons I loved Key West so much, New Orleans has so many artists and musicians I can’t wait to find my new friends and get a job, small room, be a good neighbor and blend into a progressive city on it’s way up JUST LIKE ME :)
One thing I was thinking about is how this negative environment has effected my blogging and I can’t wait to come with the new and POSITIVE John Sullivan, I don’t care if I am blogging from under a bridge I will enjoy my own company and offer true friendship and not as liberally as before.
I think when your new to a place it’s more powerful to maintain some mystery let them figure you out over time and work on some quality friendships. I can’t wait to interview old Jazz players and people around town, yes I think if I approach New Orleans soberly and honestly I can’t miss.
I was going to go up to Rochester NY but right now I think that would be stepping into a trap as people there aren’t to reliable or interested in making their life any better so I don’t have time for that. I hope to get a GREAT JOB and go visit my daughter properly when the time comes perhaps Christmas.
Tomorrow is my 45th Birthday on one hand I could argue perhaps the worst one ever as I walk around the streets of San Antonio staying safe and waiting to GO the reality is I am about to start a new life, a honest life and a QUIET life :) Hey you bitches can say I am going to Mardi Gas to see my homie :) and by March I assure you I will either be dead or living in a nice old house renting a room and enjoying my freedom and LIFE :) Pray for me and wish me LUCK :)
I would really like to get my laptop out of the pawn shop before I go
if you have any faith in me my new life and what I am really about >LUV then if your
inclined or moved to donate feel free I am moving in Faith that my life will be GREAT SOON :)
Oh yeah this is it Now can’t wait :)
Any tips or suggestions are appreciated :)
Also have you ever done anything this drastic ? Thanks everyone

Happy Birthday to my own bad self :)

I’ve done some drastic things yes, but I don’t know what you consider “this drastic.” It’s all relative you know.

New Orleans sounds like a great place and as you said, the timing is right for those who are ready to grow.

In case you hadn’t heard, I’m thinking about moving my party to Denver and that will be DRASTIC for me. Before my half century mark hits, I want to be there….I’m not telling when that is. ;-)

Godspeed,
