Smashing Pumpkins – Thirty Three
Today I was so happy to hear my daughter Shannon gave birth to a healthy daughter named Mc Kenna Marie. I could of beat myself up all day for not being there and did my best to avoid that spot as I looked towards the future.
I am in fact very fortunate to not only lived to have a daughter but to a day I thought I would never see.
Also I called my brother after many years of us not talking and we talked as if nothing happen and discussed some serious matters about the future.
I did feel sad to think my mother would never get to see the baby and she really only seen Shannon a few times, life is very short I now stand on the edge of a major turning point in my life. I pray I continue forward knowing there’s nothing more important in life then family.
Blessings to you.
Thanks to all my friends who sent Congrats it really meant a lot to me :)

Congrats, John! You’ve just entered a wonderful new chapter of your life as a grandparent. Wow and reconnecting with your brother in the same day. I’d say that was a pretty fantastic day!! :)

Congratulations Grandpa John. We are the same age and pretty young to be grand parents. I have four Grandsons already. I’m a lot better with them than with my kids. I hope to have ten or more before I turn to dust. I only have four kids so I don’t want to get too pushy. Anyway, I had a little free time and wanted to see how you was doing. Nice to see you still pushing forward.
