Rochester Seo
As many of my blogging friends know I was hoping to go to Rochester to be there for my daughter as she gives birth. Today I was full steam ahead calling SEO people in Rochester NONE answered or called back except a guy I already knew which tells me the place is ripe for the pickings. Any business owner that has a shitty phone system a GOOF answering the phone or doesn’t respond to their voice mails in a timely fashion deserves to be broke.
Anyway I got a call saying the check I am waiting on is being disputed and may not even be sent out, they are doing an audit. Anyway I just struggled the last two years blogging and the last two hours thinking I wasn’t going to be able to go. I must go.
My daughter is 18 and I wasn’t there much of her life after she was 4 and I want nothing more then to change the course of relationship and I feel confident giving a fair chance she will realize I do love her and will do everything possible to support her.
So here’s what is happening. I was warned never to sell a % of BloggerLUV to anyone but when comparing this moment in time and bloggerluv I would give the site away to hug my daughter to be honest.
Now I spoke with some friends and everyone is saying the place is very unique and needed etc and I am glad but the site has hit a wall and has went as far as my present resources can take it. My wife lost her job 2 months ago and we have been surviving on some wordpress work and she gets unemplyment and is in school for nursing so I am very grateful for all the exciting things going on in my life.
See I can stay here and ride along and be all about SELF 
I want to offer 2 10% partnerships for $1,000 each to a person I APPROVE and has more then just money to offer. I really only want the realistic amount of money in my pocket to take care of personal business.
This could be a once in a lifetime chance to get into a site that is exploding and rocking it’s poor little server.
Also I just spoke with DIM DIM and I have a partnership with them where we are going to have LIVE VIDEO Chat rooms on here and the cost to me personally is in the hundreds for a room this is CISCO teleconference level stuff and it’s not cheap. We will all have opportunities as I also decided to make SWEET AFFILIATES a co owned partnered site where 1 wordpress guy 1 php guy 1 seo 1 design will have totally access to the site and each person will refer work to each other. I could really charge for that as it would be like having a free chair in a barber shop ;_ NEXT
So what I am saying is I am not desperate or worried I know what will happen is what is supposed to

Wow I wish I had $1000 lying around John. I’d just forward it to you to help. I know what it’s like to have an estranged relationship with a daughter. It wore on me for yrs, tore me apart actually. So I know how your feeling and probably how you’ve been feeling. Oh the ups and downs we go through in life huh? Anyhoo I don’t have the grand but if I did you’d get it and to have partnership would only be a plus it wouldn’t be why I sent it. Hang tough like you said what’s suppose to happen will happen.
Just echoing Lee’s wishes here right now, how I wish i could help. I know what it feels like to spend time apart from the kids, and how important that is. Forget everything else… “I have to go see my baby” is without doubt the most poignant thing I’ve seen written in a long time. Nothing else matters today. Everything else will still remain. Go there. Dude reading that makes me sad (about your daughter). My dad was never there in my life due to him being a loner (hmmm, THAT’s where I get it from lol), and there are times when I really wish he could have been. Seems like I’m turning out to be like him so much, even with the fact that I didn’t know him all too well…. So I know how much you want to be there right now. I really wish I was in more of a position to help, but you I stay broke cuz I’m a LOSER
lol maybe fixing that soon, don’t want to spill the beans yet incase it doesn’t happen). I wish the best for you dude, you’ve been there for me these past 8 months or so, always being helpful if I needed it, or to give an encouraging swift kick in the ass when I needed it

Amen to that! One of the things we do is manage rental properties. We blow away the competition simply because when we have a vacancy we answer the stinking phone and meet the prospective tenant. Easy, right? Well, the competition wonders why we have 100% occupancy and theirs is marginal.

Good for you John. On your deathbed you will not be thinking about the money you didn’t make, or the things you do not have, but you will be thinking about the relationships in your life.

If I had the money I’d just shoot it over just like the rest of ‘em .. however, my banker suggests I pay the mortgage and utilities before the excess funds is spent on groceries, blogging and necessities..
I don’t have kids, but maybe that lets me take the emotion out of the equation some times (or makes me unqualified to comment). But .. if you can’t make it to Rochester, – remember that it’s just a moment. Moments can be captured with Skype, cell phones, camera pictures, and video images. If you don’t get this moment, you still have a lifetime of moments to make up for and MAKE HAPPEN. Make the moments happen when they least expect it – rather than the moments trying to define you.

Money is not everything. A lot of things cannot be bought like that special time you can be with your daughter. I’m sure that is more important. I hope things get better. Even silver must undergo the heat of fire to let its luster come out.

Have you thought about selling the Blogger Luv domain? You could easily start up another site with the $$$….
Get an appraisal online, from those Domain Worth sites, then put it up for sale at Digital Point.
I know one blogger from Sacramento who has done this several times, he builds up a site quickly in 6 months to 1 year, builds up to PR 3 or 4– then he sells for $3,000.00 to $5,000.00.

Hey John, the reality of this is that I didn’t even know you had an 18 year old daughter. This is some deep stuff you’re talking about here. I have a daughter who is 27 and she just started an online store. She needs….I’m not going to go into it because anybody with a daughter knows that they always need something.
It’s real important that you are trying to be there for her now, I didn’t realize how much my Dad “always being there” meant until I was an adult. Just took it for granted like – where else would he be? Sometimes I even wished he WASN’T there. That’s even hard for me to admit right now but you know I always try to keep it real. The bottom line is he passed in 2006 and as you know my Mom passed in March. So just hang in there and even if you can’t be by her side, talk to her every chance you get and just let her know that you love her.
And you know one more thing, my offline friend is here lying on the couch waiting for me to get off this computer and as soon as I do I’m going to give him a nice phat…well you know what I mean. Because he is a single Dad raising his two daughters ages 19 and 16 and their Mom is the one that’s not around.
My best to you and your future Grand-child. And remember, Grand-parents are the only ones on the planet that are more important than parents.

Glad you are making an effort to reconnect with her. Family is important, and I think you always need each other. I’m sure you will find a way to make the trip, and she will see how much you care. Even if you cant be with your daughter right now, although my comment is a bit late and you might have gone there already…. communicate with her often even if youre not with her physically. Girls that age usually feel lost especially at her state and she needs nothing more but you.
