People want to connect so why don’t they ?

You know what skip the negative stuff. If a person wants to waste time chasing GHOSTS and not bothering to at least try to form real lasting friendships then I have to move on and say that is their loss. POTPOLITICS taught me a lot about people, mostly about myself and that I am a decent guy who deserves to be happy just like YOU DO :)
Today I received an awesome google voice msg from Matt who for some bizarre reason has followed this blog from day one.
Matt owns a DJ Business in Sacramento, California, NEVER with all his comments did I ever feel like he was spamming this site ever. In fact I always enjoyed his perspective and input. I just thought it was nice as I have been working on BLOGGER LUV mostly and having some serious FUN with that. For example.
I spoke with a great blogging friend on Skype who was down for the count with a serious medical issue out of no where and I was so happy to hear she is back on the road to BLOGGING :) I don’t need to link to her right now but I will just say today I realized we are FRIENDS and we could both benefit from knowing each other on MANY levels.

For to long I didn’t want anyone’s help and if I did and reached out and you didn’t respond in nano seconds I would get upset now I am passed all that as keeping busy doesn’t give me the time to stew on such poisonous matters.
I DO feel bad now as I have FINALLY come across something that may WILL BE a hit and lead to a better life for me and many others I don’t have to stress myself with the HUSTLE of blogging. Basically it’s like I now have my own OUR facebook , twitter, virtual coffee shop to  network with and BE FRIENDS with MANY people. I noticed everyone that is joining is very experienced and bloggers need a spot to keep up with their friends and business associates. The site has way to many features to list so I will just say check the Alexa and tell me people aren’t looking for something ? That SOMETHING is what I’m about to give them and each person will give that to another and so on.

Thank YOU

Hey man,

Yeah I have a few “friends” where I use to live and they next text me or call me or give me the time of day, unless they want something. They’re also not big talkers when I get ahold of them which is not every often just because we’re so far apart from either other. I don’t mean distance there either.

I get what you’re saying here which is why I’m working hard to connect with real people and get myself out there more than ever and stick out there.

I am actually looking into use Oovoo as it’s a free service and would be interested in connecting if you’d want to in the future.

Let me know.

OK, you’re back…..thanks for the message, letting me know that I didn’t have to own a blog to join “BloggerLuv”.

Glad you didn’t just disappear, those Mossad agents are lurking… hehehe.

Hey Luv.er, thanks for creating BloggerLuv and for standing up for real friendships online. It’s great the way you reach out to people and everyone is starting to notice.

In the mean time – you know I’ve got to keep it real with you right – I really don’t have time to visit BlogCatalog right now. I joined months ago but I never go there but I do see some traffic coming over to my blog. I just think the site is a waste of time, plus it sends traffic to their site that might not have showed up otherwise. So I will pass on this one.

Don’t get me wrong you know I got your back! Let the lames die off on their own. I hardly doubt if they are “competition” for real. First of all I don’t even know who the owner is. I bet everyone that comes over to BloggerLuv knows who the owner is. WE ARE!!

Thanks for giving that awesome site over to us. That’s why I luv you so much.

Peace!

Sounds to me like you’re happy enough with blogging :) That’s good, I enjoy it too.

I wonder how it would be if a group of random bloggers sat down at a real coffee shop to have a “in real life”-chit chat. I don’t know, it just came to my mind, wondering how that might work out. I suppose I should attend some “meetups” or “tweetups” to find out what it might be like :)

Hi John and everyone,

I hope you all realize that just because someone isn’t around ALL the time that doesn’t mean they’re not still interested in being your friend or promoting what you’re doing.

The larger their vision and more complex what they are putting together is, the more times they may be absent for a while. That doesn’t mean they don’t miss you and won’t be back.

There are many other reasons someone might not be around. Just yesterday my primary Internet access (Point-to-point wireless) stopped working due to heavy rain and my backup Internet access was down too (satellite) because the rain happened to be blocking both signals. (Sounds like I need a backup for my backup.)

John, trust me when I tell you that just because someone hasn’t signed into BloggerLuv or commented here in a while that does NOT mean they are mad at you, or not interested in what you’re doing, or not coming back.

Andrew Rondeau and I have been trying to connect for two weeks. One thing after another has kept that from happening but we both know that doesn’t mean we don’t really want to or that we wil not definitely make that happen in the very near future.

When you and your friends are all doing big things just know that they’ll be back as soon as they can!

I totally agree with what Gail said. Absence doesn’t mean someone doesn’t care. Sometimes things happen that take you away for awhile. I know I have had a lot to deal with personally over the last month that effects my children. They will always be my first priority so sometimes it is hard to get online and connect being that I have to stop and take care of stuff. We are all big fans and will always being cheering for you if you can’t hear us. :)

I’ll just add that I’ve been amazed in a very good way by the real concern I’ve felt – and had felt for me – by people that think my blog is a cool place to visit.

A lot of people want to talk about the impossibility of virtual friendship, but I think that’s insane. More and more people are getting married to people they meet online, and with something like blogging, where people put tons of time and effort into writing or crafting something, and then need it promoted, there’s a real, personal commitment involved already that others can only respond to in a way that matters. One couldn’t be “disconnected” blogging unless one tried very, very hard.

I think we should spend more time in the real world than on the net.
