I hope you don’t think this post is going to be one of those 5 steps to a new you. Because maybe YOU ain’t the problemO.
Maybe your already a success in many areas of your life and in your past but for some dumb crazy reason you tossed your hat into the blogging arena.
Blogging always fascinates me NO not the blogging part but the blogger part and I’m far from perfect but I see many people just wasting time chasing GHOSTS. I can’t even remember most names now, it’s not that there’s so many new bloggers it’s that so many have been taught OR THINK the wrong way. ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME a little YOu ME ME ME does NOT WORK , but then again this is America so maybe it does
Blogging is NOT you think up some cool shit to write, add a few pics, links then Bookmark the HELL out of your own post all day on Twitter and Facebook. Blogging is about sharing your thoughts with like minded people and through that exchange you take it to the next level. Hey I have every right to criticize bloggers I have been blogging over 2 yrs met 1000′s and maybe 5 have impressed me so THINK about THAT
Before you sign up to be the bloggers lawyer in the comment section LOL

Maybe you just want to write some awesome post and get a bunch of comments, be well known and MAYBE a few of your buds will click on some of your shit, well what is all that going to do ? NOT MUCH.
To me blogging is way more then that, if I look at it in a positive light I have let all the disappointments make me stronger, I don’t drink anymore and I don’t run. I always take the side that is right. I’m right and I think excuses suck.
Look no one owes me and I owe nobody but the way our society sucks up to scumbags like Saran Palin who made over 12 million the last few months and then to watch bloggers not really look out for each other like they should makes me sick.
Here’s what I’m going to do, but before that let me just add when I worked at Kodak I was a line manager just like when I worked for Bausch and Lomb and if you call this community college in Rochester NY they can confirm I graduated 3rd out of over 6,00o. I just added that because I often play stupid because I like to be the real me. I’m not trying to write dumb ass blogging tips posts 24/7 so everyone comes by and says DUDE your awesome. I’m trying to keep changing my life and make my ultimate move.
Which will be to leave San Antonio, maybe travel around America interviewing off beat people REAL people not fucking fake ass punks like pussy Matt Cutts fuck him I much rather interview this new slightly weird Green guy who has been coming around here the last few months because I appreciate the dude and think it would be cool. But here we go into the segway.
See I’m trying to beat the system, the current system in blogging is act like your all this and that be a snob never say Thanks act like your so busy and BAMM your in.
Fuck that I wouldn’t care if my grand papi left me 20 mill I would still be willing to talk with you and see what we could do together. I guess when it’s all said and done I will attract the real people worth knowing and know what friendship is about and people like Brogan will attract the White collar socially appropriate people. That suck each other off for money NO thanks LOL
Now who’s successful you may say him with his 30 k a month vs me with my 3 k a month, the world says it. Yes he has been at it along time but when it’s all said and done you may benefit more from being his BUD online but in real life ? REAL life please no fucking ?
So who’s more successful me who does and says whatever I want when I want or fake ass game players THOUGHT LEADERS that lead TRIBES and know how to play the game , yeah I know
Well that’s the EXACT reason I keep learning PHP and do much more coding now because I know how people are I know when I have a problem with someone it’s their fault
I think most bloggers in real life I would get along with but their selfish fake ass online personas are fucking funny and sad at the same time.
Be real regardless. Just be you and I promise everything will work out.
So what do you think ? BE honest Thanks
And even though it may sound like I’m bitter I’m just making observations based on REALITY.
Don’t sell yourself short.
Also my next post is totally positive about how the knowledge your learning now is going to be HIGHLY profitable in fact for many bloggers it already is. So don’t quit and RT this post thanks LOL

Interesting opinion bro. Yes, being honest and just be me in offline and online activities is always on my mind I don’t want to change it.
Thanks John!

Who are the five that impressed you?
Do you really care about the “fake” people? I certainly don’t….to me they don’t even exist…I only know about them because you reminded me.
Now where the heck is the Twitter widget? That was one of the things I look forward to playing with when I come to your site. Oh yeah, did you ever fix the audio comment thingy?

For real, fake people are everywhere. You can’t escape them. But you can choose not to associate with them. I really don’t have any blogger friends, I try to make real friends, people that will support my efforts and eventually refer people to me because of something I do well. I don’t cultivate a lot of blogger friends, except you.

The dude I was asking the question to in Twitter is the author of this post here: http://www.sitesketch101.com/are-you-crying-about-others-success
I was asking him if he considers a post like this “crying about others’ success”. The reason I asked is because I’m challenging his viewpoint. He’s a pretty good blogger, but he’s very much in the mindset of “if someone is ‘successful’, then whatever they do is praiseworthy and they should be emulated”.
Which is a VERY common viewpoint. So in other words, Rowse, Brogan, Clark etc. are his heroes.
Now, I don’t really care how any of those dudes choose to do their business, *except* insofar as it influences other people into being sycophants with $_$ in their eyes all trying to be the next blogging cult leader/superstar.
I don’t want to be any of those guys and I don’t want a business like theirs. I think I said it another comment on this blog, but my hope for blogging/social media is that we can create our own cultures and our own means of being productive.
Why make the internet into a mirror-image of corporate America? That’s the way it’s trending, and it’s up to us to make it into something different, if we care enough.

I was talking with my first and best to this day blogging friend cool black lady my age anyway I said you have to break through a wall of fame where now as being UN FAMOUS all these people say and do and act the right way to hopefully be well known and that’s about as far as they will go they fade out and quit way before they really making it part, Sure they may mmake 5-10 g’s on an ebook they wrote in an hour or reads like such but that doesn’t change your life and it also keeps you chasing the scheme instead of the dream.
In fact I may be Nicholas
I don’t need them and they don’t need me they have each other the A TEAM
I’m the B team
Everyone else C your way OUT LOL
Thanks man
Also this is my PERSONAL blog if I was conducting it like a business you would never know it was me
The bottom line is when someone comes in your life and it means nothing and they leave it means nothing because you know their style by who they hang with it means nothing to me and yes they were referring to me and they don’t want none of this either online or in reality

Great opinions John, tell it like ya see and don’t stop doing that mate.
I think, personally the biggest successes out there are unknown, they aren’t blogging and shouting from the rooftops about their “success” and if they did, they would make people like Brogan look like a small potato.
The real successes out there are just… getting on with it.

Success is defined from within and flaunting material successes just make it unbelievable. It naturally shows and it can’t be faked. Only plastic saints and self-indulgent people can do it effortlessly.

Hey John, passionate post as always. I think if I were to say one thing in regards to this, stop worrying about everyone else and do you. People that want to be on your level will naturally connect with you, the flakes will always fall off.
Reduce your expectations and just be you, do what your going to do.

Oh, they’re selfish. No argument there.
I think this, though: when you “make it” as a blogger, it’s hard to give back to everyone all at once. I think a few bloggers that have made it could help a lot more out by giving dofollow links, and maybe even going out of their way to feature up and coming bloggers, but I know in the case of some of the most prominent bloggers, they’re not really that bright. What made them popular was the usual self-improvement and guru crap that sells with everyone. So now that they’ve made it and have to give back, the only way they know how to give back… is by saying the same crap they’ve been saying the whole time.
I’m not saying I’m perfect, but notice how when I give advice about blogging – which is rare – I’m pretty damn specific.
