Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty

President Obama to  the dismay of many Americans signed the START2 Treaty.

Originally the treaty START 1 was between the United States and the former Soviet Union. President Obama signed a historic treaty recently which got me to thinking, Can America survive with out all her long range missiles?

Can America survive without being a warmonger ? Is America ever going to see Peace ? I blame America for much of the world’s problems, we had so much wealth We could of really changed the world instead we let evil people take advantage of us while we are worried about SELF. America can still turn things around. I was all for President Obama signing this treaty and I don’t think America could survive without her nukes.

What Do you think ? Think we will ever see Peace ?

When do you see the American people waking up from their coma ?
God Bless America she is going to need it :(

I think its a step in the right direction, if it makes the world a safer place.
Obama has made the USA safer because our enemies do not see him as threatening as GWB……in this respect I feel that Obama may become our “Gorbachev.” (Mikhail Gorbachev was loved in the US but hated in his own country, even though he dismantled the Soviet Bloc and made the world a safer place)

I have no idea if that’s the right direction to go. One part of me says we may need them for the little commo countries like Iran and N. Korea but logic tells me that would be the end.

Even with the treaty we will still have thousands of nukes and thousands pointed back at us. I bet a lot of folks today don’t know what we felt in the seventies and early eighties with the cold war, half waiting for those nukes to fly.

I think ALL nukes should be banned, worldwide and enforced.

How can we have peace in the world with so much hate, so much destructive shit to use?

I also blame America and England for alot of the worlds mess, but the one thing America does have to do is to take it’s ego down a peg or two. ;)

We do enough damage to the world without the bloody bombs and crap…let alone with it all! :x

Hi guys,

Peace is something we all have been looking for since existing. If I see peace in my lifetime I would be very surprise.

Kind regards,

Sam

Why are some people making such a big deal about this, they disarmed some surplus nukes, and the right wingers, like that idiot Sarah Palin who wouldn’t know a nuke from a bikini has to grandstand with her idiotic playground analogy. THEY WERE SURPLUS, we still have nukes, armed and ready, no one has to worry, we all can calm down, we still have enough nukes to blow the world into oblivion!

It’s a sad mistake to think that we have some higher level of security because we have more armed nukes than anyone else, the only true enemy of a nuclear war is war itself and the fact that the invisible and country less enemy that is terrorism is not affected by the prospect of nuclear weapons.

We can all calm down, because you still have enough to blow the world up…lol.. we can never calm down as long as have them, and you would do well to look into the “war on terrorism” which is bullshit, it’s their “war on freedom” and the BIGGEST mistake bush made was to call it a “war” in the first place, you could have learnt alot from how we in the UK dealt with the IRA situation, we never once thought of it or called it a war. That was because we always looked at it as a criminal act, not an act of war. BUSH is a prick and a terrorist, just as Tony Blair is.

But then alot of the Americans were funding the IRA to blow us up, hypocrites.

The biggest war mongers on the planet is the USA!

No matter what happens, American Administration will never allow the nukes to be side tracked from the security point of view. It has been one of the biggest military inventions and I do not see the nukes being dislodged for at least the next hundred years to follow. To see world peace we all should just pray that no nation comes to verge of using nukes for military operations.

It will be a great day when us “war mongers” quit protecting and helping the rest of the world and let you all fend for yourselves. That day can’t come soon enough!
