I suppose I should start by introducing myself as someone who's never actually stood in a protest line, held a sign or shouted by opinion to a mass of onlookers in hopes that it somehow changes opinions. That said, I have to say that videos like this just make me scratch my head.

I'm I the only one who looks at this and asks "what the hell are these people trying to accomplish?" Were any of the elected officials we've sent to Washington even aware of this event (or do they even care). I guess I'm just saying that if were going to try and change people's opinions, I would go about it a different way. This to me just looks like a wasted afternoon and a lot of sore throats.

Republicans are so fucking crazy. You can tell that guy throwing the money at the guy with Parkinsons is a rich asshole who has no clue what it is like for ordinary folks who can't afford healthcare; probably isn't capable of feeling empathy either. I think what I'm trying to say is, he is a douchebag.

I think the healthcare bill is going to pass, but it is a shame it is so watered down and not what it should be; you have the party of no, er the party of obstruction to thank for that.

We are all on the same page and so are many other bloggers and their readers. Illusion of choice is no choice. Divide and conquer is a strategy that has worked for so long and is still working.

Come by my blog and read the posts I've written about the solution - and yes, there IS a solution for the few. I have no misconceptions that the many will ever understand. We CAN focus on the small percentage who "get it" and will start supporting each other.

My vision is longer and wider than most and my perspective comes from decades (yes, I'm OLD - or at least old enough to have gained some wisdom and insight). All business is not the problem and small and online businesses ARE the solution.

John,

Sigh. Why did you have to post this on my day off, when I have nothing better to do than stand on my soapbox and write what will probably turn out to be a novel. :D Okay so immediately when I started watching the video, I had a vision of the people who run this country smiling because of all the chaos, and lack of the ability to come together, talk things out, and get some problems solved. That's all the right and left have ever been in this country, just look back at history.

Take for example the rules for a televised presidential debate. Guess who makes up THAT committee. The Repubs and Dems.... Maybe that's why I only recall Ross Perot ever being a third party candidate in one. "Freedom" is just a front to make Americans believe they have a choice. Both parties make their members feel talking points should be so strong that they won't listen to the other side to hear real back-and-forth dialogue, and are just close-minded. The people who suffer of course, are your average American people. You know, the ones who DON'T have free health care like the members of Congress, don't have private jets to go to global warming meetings in, and don't get to be a guy who sleeps with their male intern page boys while publicly saying gay people shouldn't have rights or be able to marry. The hypocrisy of the people who run this country is ridiculous, if we did half the stuff they did we would be put away for a long time.

If any one good thing came out of this last election, I think it's that more Americans have truly started to wake up to the truth and see our government for the shady group of gangsters they really are. While kids are worried about the next Miley Cyrus CD coming out or whatever, I bet most couldn't tell you that the Patriot Act was just extended UNDER OBAMA'S WATCH. Geez I don't think I can get all my thoughts out here. :) I mean there's so much to cover, like how the media is no longer full of actual journalists who actually REPORT, instead they "report" their OPINION, making you FEEL you should agree with their $kewed point-of-view. I guess I'm done, I'm sure you are all bored as hell and probably think I'm out of my mind now. What can I say, I stood in line for an hour and a half in the pouring rain to vote for Obama, only to see my first Alex Jones video a couple weeks later. Sigh, sorry for taking up so much space John! :P
