Are you missing the Blogging action ?
I’m the last one to really care about any analytics in fact I don’t even have Google analytics on this blog. I take it as it comes and go with the flow and I do know from experience when are the best times to post that will get the best responses. I often skip those times just like in my partying bar hopping days I would strangely go out on Monday night rather then a Friday. But since blogging is a serious game that many people take way to serious so let’s think about when is actually the best time to publish a post.
Long ago it seems the google bot was slow to come around so throwing a post up with the Google bot passing through was hit and miss and a lot depended on how you had your blog set up. NOW the googlebot immediately indexes a posts from this blog. So google is no longer an issue.
What about what’s more important people.
I know that Sunday is a great day to have some posts ready for all the normal people that have lives and jobs during the week.
I can easily catch a 100 uniques on a Sunday with no post and many hundreds when I’m active so Sunday would be a bad day to loose out on for sure. Mondays a good day also because all the people that work for themselves usually fire up the computer after Living the LIFE all weekend so Monday is definitely a big day.
The best thing I have found is BANGING OUT Friday night and Saturday seems like way more activity is popping and it’s always good to get into the mixx on Friday night and visit people so your not some GOOF just sitting there staring at your visitor count.
BUT The ULTIMATE time is….. ready ? no not when you feel like it but when the person or people you run with post 
Yes talk with them beforehand and do a double BANG and coordinate a duel topic post then you can do it whenever and it’s HIGHLY effective. I did that twice today once with a cool Christian lady from Twitter and then with another blogger about DO FOLLOW So it was VERY EASY to get the traffic that I had expected was going to come. See I do many weird things because I want to control every step of the way and when your going to post is important because you may be missing out on the action
What time is best for you ?
Do you care or just GO FOR IT when your ready ?

I’ve actually wondered about this topic before, I know I don’t keep the same hours as “normal” people, and didn’t know if that would have anything to do with when I post or update something. I figured if I did it when more people were on-line, I would get more traffic. But that’s why I’m a noob, and still learning.
I see what you’re saying about Sunday being a good day, seems like Saturday and Sunday are my best days (only because the kids are out of school and searching for free Xbox stuff).
Also, that’s a great song by Green Day, one of my favorite bands (I mean I like all of their stuff, but their early stuff is just better).

I think at nights you got cashed faster, and at mornings you got lots of traffic from social media, specially Twitter

You’re right my man I changed my posting time to 0800GMT London from 2100hrs GMT London and my readers and comments went up about 25% I reckon

By the way, targeting your readers by using Google webmaster tools also can effect your blog traffic, maybe you need to check for whom you are blogging!
If you are targeting a country like USA for example, then your posting time should be 04:00 GMT means very early in some parts of the States, your posts will be on search engine as soon as it’s cashed!
If you are blogging for the whole world then social media is your friend because it will be more difficult to find your blog on Google!
Anyways.. glad you could increase your blog readers!

I was thinking I was vague about WHEN is the exact time but that chart is actually showing you when the exact best times are I wanted to add the dimension that the best time is also when you have a CO Blogging venture post going then it can be very effective but they are two different points and I should of been more clear

I have been trying to figure out the best time to post for months now. I still have no Clue. I always post at night usually between 8 and 9 eastern. I have so many visitors outside the US that I think I am good no matter what tine. I an huge in the Phillapines!!
