My Life as Liz

Last night as my wife was HOGGING the computer playing her GAMES and adding even more trojans to this whacked ass DELL I got a chance to watch a show I saw previews for a few weeks back. So right off the bat as a father of a FEW teenagers I always like to think I’m UNLIKE my own parents and HIP to whatever issues teens now face. So I decided to check out Liz a nice, smart, talented FUNNY awkward teenager who is dealing with hostile classmates and all kinds of COOL things. Basically Liz struggles with whether to TRY and do the things that make her “enemies” popular or just be herself and at odds with the cool kids. The show had a great caring Mom and unless your a total insensitive JERK you can’t help but to care about Liz. The actress is very focused as the show tosses between reality, exaggerations and LIZ herself giving you the inside scoop.
Here’s her enemy and I noticed on MTV’s Finally cool website that everyone was leaving Comments that they HATE her and she’s UGLY I would think this actress should make more then Liz because it would suck to branded as Liz’s enemy for LIFE :)

So in terms of blogging. You have to make a decision on who your going to be ? Will you be the real you and maybe suffer for your being a totally cool person in a world full of lamers :) Or perhaps you are the kind that is selling a LIE and trying to fuck people out of their money because they are stupid and buy your shit :) Good luck with that it’s a small world, in fact I was talking to a dude today from Austin who told me that GOOF FUCK Perry Belcher is in Prison or going to prison Ouch .
Anyway to me it’s time to learn what works. I do suffer for being myself but I know deep down that when I offer to help someone it’s to keep busy and make a new friend. Like Liz it would be nice to live in the perfect world where everyone loves Liz because in reality she deserves it I mean  who wouldn’t love LIZ ?

The point is that I have to continue to do my best but also acknowledge that some people just won’t GET YOU and I used to be such a people pleaser that would really annoy me.Today I try to adopt the thinking hey that’s their loss I was just trying to put my hand out FUCK IT :)
I wanted to add a clip with a little more about LIZ and yes I’m not in the shows demographics but I did learn something from the show and that is no matter how much you want or how hard you try some people just won’t like you no matter what. Once I realize that I can do something about it :) Like write this whacked out POST :)
Oh and that FAT kid sitting with her is her best friend named Sully :)

What crowd are you in ? The In crowd or the UNDERGROUND :)
Check this out Liz is cool

The reality is whether your 16 or 60 you have to deal with PEOPLE :)

Follow Liz on Twitter

Also what’s interesting about the show is they are looking at real stuff that GETS Hidden or ignored so I thought the show was pretty cool for an old timer :) Hey it beats Jersey Shore :) Best wishes to the young creative actress and her REAL friends :)

I thought it was pretty creative and refreshingly Real :)
    Thanks for the comment

I’ve never watched this show, as its on cable and we’re too cheap to get satelite (Direct TV or Dish Network).

About Dell & trojans — switch to Google Chrome! I’ve been using Chrome as my web browser, and have not had ONE crash since I switched. Chrome is virtually immune to nearly all trojan vundo viruses, giving my 6-year old Dell Inspiron desktop a reprieve from the junk heap.

Had it not been for Google Chrome — I would have needed a new computer, about 2 years ago, because both IE and FireFox were inoperable with frequent crashing and constant popups for spam.

Why do you type like a thirteen year old girl? Stop the random upper case words and smiley faces and maybe your blog would be readable… And just for your old timer information, no shows on MTV depict real life. In any shape or form.

  4. Margaux says:

I love your blog, But I have to disagree with you. This show is TERRIBLE. It’s staged, It’s everything wrong with marketing these days. I wish something was REAL. But the different camera angles and poor acting, I’d take the Real World over Liz’s crap any day.

Hey John, I’ve see commercials to that show but have never watched it – to be quite honest I dont watch a lot of TV and when I do I try not to watch low quality shows…Actually Im really surprised you like the show, I’ve heard mixed reviews.

can we watch this shows online? looks interesting though some said it’s crappy. We have a lot of crappy tv shows here in our country, maybe I should start watching shows like this or shows from your country :)
