Conan O’Brien leaves NBC
Like millions of Americans tonight I felt like I was watching a little piece of history as the Conan O’Brien show ends on NBC. I couldn’t help but think of how stupid and dirty NBC and most big companies are today. Apparently with the majority of the people in a semi coma I guess they figure they are big enough to endure the backlash. I don’t watch much network TV except the local news and that’s not NBC so what they do and how RICH people make their devious decisions are beyond me.
I wanted to mention that I thought Conan went out with a lot of class. I almost thought he was going to cry when they played that recap clip.

The show also had the BIGGEST Guest possible with First class Tom Hanks and the GOOF Will Farrell tossing out a rather good Free Bird to wind the show down. Why NBC decided to let go of such a valuable asset makes you wonder how these HUGE companies really only care about one thing and it’s NOT YOU. Damn there were so many commercials they were trying to make all the millions they gave Conan back in one night.
Sidenote it was cool to hear Tom Hanks mention search and it’s obvious he spends a lot of time online.

Man Google is FAST
Late night talk is usually not my style, but I’ve been a big fan of Conan since I was old enough to stay up that late… So I had to watch the episode last night and it was damn good!
I hate to wish ill on someone, but I hope Leno crashes and burns all over again and NBC is back begging Conan to take over again in six months. Of course, I doubt it – GE/NBC is already an uber-evil corporation and their new mutation with Comcast could only make them even more sinister.

Jay Leno is NOT funnier then Conan

I couldn’t stand the corny jokes coming from Leno at any time period.
I hope Conan’s rating goes up and things work out well for him.
Sorry to be a wet blanket on your post — but CONAN SUCKS and I don’t really think he’s very funny.
FYI — he was a great Comedy WRITER, he wrote some fantastic “Simpson’s” episodes for Fox TV in the early 90′s, and before that he was a supporting writer and bit player on Saturday Night Live.
I never thought he made a good Talk Show Host, he was awkward and geeky– not a suitable Johnny Carson replacement.
Occasionally some of his bits (Triumph the Insulting Comic Dog, Masturbating Bear) make me laugh — but his show in general did not!
Good Bye and Good Riddance. NBC cut its losses. Better to pay $45 million NOW, than to lose $100,000,000 per year (the estimated ratings loss that Conan was producing, compared to Leno’s ratings before he took over).
I think Conan sucked myself I was looking for some traffic thanks for cooperating LOL

LOL — you know the rules, my wife is a really private person and would be freaked out, but we have 3 acres and you can park a trailer for free. I can even hook you water & electricity, if needed. (When my wife is at work, you can use our shower, I promise!). You’ll need to obtain your CA doctor card, that’s mandatory in our neck of the woods.
I must confess I tuned in to see what the final money wasting mascot was going to be, quite a departure from the Fedex Pope on the old late night show. none of his predecessors broke into adolescent clowning as much as Conan does, wonder if that effected the exec view him taking over the Tonight Show institution, naw they’d put on Pewee Herman if it upped the bottom line.
I actually had to watch most of the program on the nbc site after my dern dtv converter box auto shutdown with 2 hours of tape left on the VCR.
