san antonio blogs 500x335 Localizing your blog

One of the easiest ways to start in localizing your blog is to add the location and link it to your domain obviously. Personally I don’t care about where I rank for that term because sadly where I live and a city with over 2 million people is in my opinion not the networking capital of the world. I already tried reaching out to some people via tweeter and even went to listen to this local guru talk about shit I did two years ago. The point is when I left I THOUGHT I had made some good contacts even though one guy was some MLM NUT and I was pretty desperate to finally meet someone in this lame ass place that is HIP :)

Oh well let’s pretend that I was in a place like San Diego REAL money making blogs (longtail luv ) and hanging out with the KING of the Free Coupon Matt and Pat live there and I BET that one hour with them would be more productive then 1000 with some GOOF from this taco stand. This is a KEY ingredient this blog and I are missing and will be corrected ASAP. The key to success in blogging and anything for that matter is learning and developing a way to immediately STOP wasting time on things that don’t work.

I always try to think about something I don’t see other bloggers write about :) I think to be able to live in an awesome environment around positive REAL people is something that is totally necessary.

But I think I have become stronger dealing with more negativity then normal and I did put in the effort but I don’t chase anyone. I don’t really need anything from any of them I was just trying to be nice . I’m the blacksheep I guess but I’m finding a way to turn that into a blessing. I work harder, reach out more and made some awesome connections around the world. Yes localizing is something to not pass up especially if your in a progressive environment with people living in 2010, oh boy I can’t wait :)

Have you hooked up with some local bloggers ?

Check out Pat’s video here and then go check out his TOTALLY awesome site where he shows you EVERYTHING to get paid. Pat is very cool unlike 97.3% of all affiliate marketers.

Follow the trail by following Pat on Twitter if you want it you will work for it :) Thanks Pat

Cool stuff  make sure you  get his ebook and take some time to study what really works :)
Also if your a Coupon NUT check out Matt’s cool site I like to hit the EASY RT buttons on his site to help a brother out LOL:)

Freebie Friday 150x150 Localizing your blog Finally I wanted to thank Keith from need information blog I got lucky and Keith was smart and decided to take a risk and get some LUV on a new project  a blog owned by all 8 bloggers, Yes it’s been done before but I doubt it will be done better. Each person is HIGHLY skilled in their own unique way REAL people not some chumps that are famous cause they kissed ass while  they worked at APPLE or whatever. It’s almost showtime :)

The main point of this post is to reach out to people locally but if they end up being snobs, or over rated goofs move on and keep reaching out REAL people will find you and you will find them. PERIOD :)

What has been your experience with the LOCAL EFFECT ? Thanks <is the word that will make me famous :) TRUE

Did you get your say on the recent Facebook vs Twitter post with 29 awesome comments ? There were tons more I had to delete and it’s doing awesome in it’s serps check it out :) That’s an easy to spot example of a good keyword :)

Yeh, localizing your blog can play into your hands for a couple reasons:

-it’s bound to be more fun
-it gives you a chance to network (both socially and in terms of blog networking)
-it presents the opportunity to localize advertising (targeting)
-narrow your niche? +more keyword opportunities.

I haven’t actually met any bloggers offline, but I think it would be cool to network with people locally, assuming there are cool bloggers in your area!
