My first thoughts today were about how many hours a typical blogger puts into their work, thousands of hours of dedication that is never mentioned.
With all that effort you would think bloggers would be better at making serious power moves and doing things that will guarantee their success instead of wasting so much time making other people online rich by hanging out on their sites. So with that I wanted to share what some of my own plans are for the near future.
Blogger Luv update. I wanted to start the New Year off right with a brand spanking new group project with 7 other bloggers working TOGETHER on this co owned site as an asset to their own personal sites. See I know POTPOLITICS is such a whacky name that it will never reach a true level of success and status, but there are some plans on incorporating some cool features and to maintain this as my personal blog. This way I can spout off whatever I want on here, look out for my friends and be a little more serious and professional on the other site. I have already thought about who would be best to be involved in this project and once I switch the site back to wordpress from posterous which I was hoping would be a better collaboration tool I will send the people an email.
Speaking of posterous I don’t see many /any of my blogging friends on there and I like to think of it as a co blog where I can easily autopost from everywhere and do many cool things. There are many well known GEEKS and other guru types on there and it’s a pretty powerful site so check it out of your not hip to it 
Oh I was on a blog this morning and clicked and ad to see this new network site with a weird name small rivers. As I was looking at it I noticed some cool features. I was going to select a DO follow blogs network but then thought damn there aren’t any/many really cool do follow blogs and the ones that are I know about so I made it Blogging so check it out on the bottom of the side bar. Finally speaking of ads I wanted to share that if you look at the placement of my adsense ads you will see that the way I laid them out won’t make me rich but has made a BIG difference FYI LOL

The reason I added that pic on top was not to brag but to show you one of the things I do instead of stewing in the stats and all that I reach out to another blogger.TRY IT

The main point I was trying to make is if your going to be successful in blogging you better find some good friends and look out for them because if you think your going to make it on your own Your fooling yourself, agree or disagree ? Thought so LOL Peace

man I’ve been pitching companies like crazy for reviews and giveaways to get things moving like I was in Oct/Nov and it’s slow so far.
Think it will be another month til it picks back up while everyone recovers from the holidays?

That’s the thing that I realize about halfway through my first year of blogging, John. The power of blogging and bloggers lies in the our ability to network. By ourselves, we can achieve only a little, but when we get together, we could literally move mountains if we wanted to.
Personally, I’m getting very aggressive with my expansion in 2010, and I’m not wasting a lot of time with things that aren’t going to help me expand. Now, I’m still going to be real with the people that are real with me, (Such as you) but besides that, I’m going to live up to my slogan of “Sticking Out” in 2010.
