Do follow Blogs Rule 
In an effort to combat blogs that hoard page rank and to add to your site’s page rank I decided to open my comments back up for my friends. As an added bonus I found some posts that already have page rank so you can go directly there and leave a comment can’t get no better then that

I don’t care what you say but I won’t let any negative spammy comments benefit for saying anything dumb. So just say something corny or real whatever but to protect the other links on that page please be nice and get your PR4 DO FOLLOW links Cool ok let’s roll
When your done go find a blog that looks out for you like that

Wow John, you really are providing alot of value to the readers, this honestly is the first time I’ve ever seen a blog author come out in then open and say here guys… here is where to go and comment to get the PR 3… PR 4 dofollow comments, that’s really unique man!
I usually just leave my comments on something I feel I can contribute to, so I’ll take a look at them and see whether I can

Well thanks John for these 3 wonderful links. Count me as well as one of the contender for Top commentator position. I am going to stay here for long time..not because of TC but because you blog is cool
The only problems is that once you switch to the comment page, it is no longer pr4 but pr0. Either way, people shouldn’t pass up the opp to get link from a do follow site.
Looky folks, page rank is misleading. It’s only for the root, not internal. I have a toolbar in my firefox browser that shows me the PR of everything I visit. This page — http://potpolitics.com/2010/01/07/do-follow-comments-with-page-rank-for-you/ — has a non-applicable PR number, whereas http://potpolitics.com shows a PR of 4.
Regardless of PR, the point should be to comment when you feel inspired, not what it’s ranking is.

Also I direct them to some posts that do in fact have PR 3 and if I was new or trying to get some page rank I would be leaving nice comments on those posts
Also unlike MOST bloggers I try to do whatever I can to HELP other bloggers

I do think you missed the point of this article Ari, the pages he listed have good PR. I don’t obsess over it anyway, comment links aren’t near as valuable as content links, but hey…. I comment because I have an opinion….

@keith- I have been wondering that too for a long time. That is a good idea though John it really rewards loyalty and not just someone who is jumping on for a month or two for the juice.

I’m not gonna go comment though as I don’t want to “take advantage” of your offer, I’ll comment on what I like and if I get link juice, then that’s just an extra bonus.

Great idea. You might be starting a new trend among the dofollow blog community. It wouldn’t be too big a trick to figure out which of our posts have pagerank – just look at the ones that the spammers love.
When time allows perhaps I’ll find some in my blog, share them and link to this post and my very popular dofollow lists and tools post. It is PR2 so I’ll link it to this comment from the regular Website field (not the CommentLuv post).
