Easy powerful seo and page rank tips

Even though this guy is lame and over rated like myself check out the words :) that is what I’m saying.

Shortly before Google‘s last page rank update I added a archives page to this blog. Well we can assume since it was given a pr of 3 and all those links go right back to ME we can tell google likes archives pages and Do follow :)

Since I always LOOK for ways to pay my blogging friends back for being cool I was thinking about the blogroll and how much sense it made to give it a page of it’s own. I had to think about whether I would be helping or hurting the people on there. I think the few clicks they may or may not of lost is nothing in comparison to the transfer of page rank on the next update. Plus it makes the links on the front page stronger. Just because Google doesn’t have a clue and wants to keep this blog at PR3 I’m getting ready to MAKE THEM give me my props :)

I don’t work on link building like I should. When I first started out I was a link hound but it gets old and most aren’t worth shit  anyway.

Since it’s the weekend I would just suggest you take an easy and powerful approach and install the archives plugin and the blogroll plug in and back up from the computer and Enjoy the Day and let Google do the rest :)

Plugins mentioned :)

Yeah, I used to spend hours and hours getting links from various sources…..but slowed down when my site reached top of SERP.

Thanks for the tips, although they probably don’t apply to static sites (like mine)!

Glad to see WP Render Blogroll Links played a part in helping you get there.

    Hey John,
I agree that our focus has to be more on people than on Google. The rankings will come as a consequence on focusing on providing great content.
Just wanted to give you a shout out and tell you that I’m so happy that your blog is back. Yay! Hey when you have a moment add me on Skype so we can talk and connect all cool bloggers. I’m already connected to Dan Nappi from The Blog About Everything.
    All the best ;-)

Google does seem to like bloggers building a community rather than trying to do it all alone.. I like that, Google wants a network, an interwoven web of activity not lots of unconnected sites operating without interaction

Thanks for the plugin tips, although I’m also trying to keep my plugins to the minimum.

BTW, glad to see the site back up again. I’m sure many users notified you that the site was down, as you would not know yourself, lol.

Building your network is a longer-term strategy. It may or may not take more time, but the payoff will be bigger and sturdier. Glad to see you are back and back in form.
