Why do you say he’s a dick? Not that I am necessarily disagreeing. I just want to know your reasons.

I disagree with most of his politics (all I know about, in fact) but did not know about his personality.

I agree with the assessment about the music. I really like their older music, but have not been exposed to their newer stuff.

I have to agree with music scene kid. U2 used to put on some really awesome shows. Last night's concert was pretty cool but it lacks the heart that the old U2 used to have. They don't have that "hunger" anymore. I guess that's what hundreds of millions and a huge collection of "yes-men" does to your work.
