Life never made much sense to me. As a kid I saw people go to work come home sleep eat watch TV REPEAT. I have lived my life on the edge because I knew it didn’t really matter.People treat their best friends like shit and suck up to losers. We worship scumbags and the RICH get richer. The good guy gets kicked to the curb.
We let a bunch of people tell us what to do and when to do it. Yeah we’re Free all right.
I don’t play by anyone’s rules not man not country and not GOD.
When not IF the time comes for me to stand up for what I believe will I ?
Is it better to suffer and be you or SELL OUT and suck up for some bread ?
I guess when it’s all said and done we were just passing through and everyone was just trying to do the best they could……….. May your journey be a good one.
Maybe next time I will end up where there are no murders and everyone is HAPPY :)

That’s something I’ve always wondered about.. we all do what we feel is best and when you ask two people which is better, sucking up and being a coward, but being secure and safe, or standing by your values and your beliefs, but never knowing what tomorrow will bring – both people could give you different answers, but neither is right and neither is wrong.. it’s all personal and we all do what we, ourselves, feel is best..
that’s the key to happiness

The cheat team clip was hilarious. I do remember when he made fun of Clinton all the time. What irony. Thanks for dropping by my blog. Cheers

Finding the right balance….between selling out and having personal independence….its a fine line, but its easy when you have good medicine!

Love the video, really gives you a sense of humbleness (if that’s a word)!

Watch it when stoned ;)

Essentially, life is what it is. You go through, and try to get the most enjoyment out of it as you can. Just like a virus is programmed to reproduce and infect, we are programmed to create, whether that be to create babies, create art, buildings, social networks, or whatever, creation is, in my opinion, the meaning of life. It’s one thing that all humans, all races, have in common.

As for freedom, no, we’re not free. Our American founding fathers were waging a war based on taxation, and nowadays taxation has become much worse since then, and is still one of the least of our worries. It’s just a matter of waking people up.

Of course, you are free. As long as you give up (at least) half of your productivity to a central government that has become everything that most of the founding fathers fought and spoke against. And that the constitution prohibits. That “piece of paper.”

If you pay that tribute, you can remain free.

How can someone be free (really) if he/she doesn’t even own his own labor?

But, you know, Trey, it’s hard to wake up anyone who WANTS to stay asleep. There is just so much apathy now. Slowly, but surely, though, it is happening. Maybe people will even wake up to what this new administration is really all about.

Any government that is powerful enough to give you everything you want is also powerful enough to take away everything you have. Chilling, isn’t it, when you try to take in the whole picture.

Its difficult to get the feel of scale of this stuff. It’s massive! I saw the Hubble space telescope pictures, when they were on tour and visited the Yard Gallery, at Wollaton Park, in Nottingham. The prints were about 6ft high. They blew me away! I’ve been to a lot of exhibitions and only twice have I had my World turned on its head and come out a different person: 1. The Big Hubble Space Pictures and 2. I saw Korperwelten (Body Worlds), in Berlin.

I really like the video about the star. Very awe inspiring stuff. I’ll bet it is really deep when sto*ned. You find some cool stuff every day.

The Letterman clip is also hilarious. Those guys on the Cheat Team are the experts, after all! No telling how many years of experience there is on that team.

You are hitting on so many complex issues it is hard to respond but your comment “Yea were free all right” kind of bothered me since the answer has been so difficult and is getting more difficult every year. In a nutshell yes we are free. You can say what you want without getting arrested, granted there are a few exceptions but 99.99% of the time you are ok. You can worship whatever god you want or not. You can work where you want. I can go on for hours with the you can’s because we do have so many freedoms to do as we want when we want and how we want and if some douche bag is telling us we can only do this at this time and in this way we can also tell them what to do with it. There is nothing wrong with going your own way and doing your own thing but many men and women have died for the freedoms that you have so please understand that while you don’t have every freedom that you may want you have many more than billions of people on this planet and those were fought for and should be cherished.

Its a f#@ked up world, thats for sure. But there are some good things in it. Question you gotta ask is, are those good things worth the bad? Would we take the good for granted if there was no bad?
