We don’t get cable or satellite TV but can rent DVDs of those HBO or Showtime series, like “Sopranos” or “Weeds.”

Actually the premise of “Weeds” is rather silly (to me), because in California (where the show takes place) has become a difficult place to be a dope dealer — since the medicinal cannabis law passed in 1995, fewer “ducks” (people who don’t have connections & pay retail) are available to be dope-buying customers. Most of the dopers are self-sufficient now, either cultivating their own -OR- going to the Cannabis Buyer Clubs (CBCs, also called Dispensaries) for their weed purchases.

In real life, the main character in “Weeds” would STARVE, because there wouldn’t be anyone left to buy her dope!!!

I kinda like the premise of the show though. Unfortunately, I don’t even have the time to watch TV nowadays. :( Plus, Mary Louise Parker is so pretty… I’ll wait for the DVD then…haha!
