It was amazing to see those protesters do not even understand the idea behind the other group of protesters "Billionaires for Wealthcare". That just tell us one thing: 99% of 9/12 protesters are just plain idiots (for lack of a more polite word) and the remaining 1% has an obvious agenda: they are sent there by healthcase insurance and pharmaceutical companies.

It seems like 8 years of Republican governement has dumbed down the american people. This is supposed to be the nations where the smartest people congregate in, damnit!!

I am going back to France where at least I am guaranteed healthcare or maybe I should just cross the nothern border.

I only made it as far as turning the US into a 3rd world country. What the hell? I'm not getting into all of the plain WRONG in that video, but I will say that I stand by the idea that they should do the national health care plan like other countries AND give the option for others to pay out of pocket and do what they want. Both systems in place, everyone gets healthcare and everyone (that has the money) can keep doing what they want to do. Plain and simple. Well, maybe not simple, but you know what I mean.

Forget the point and purpose and all of that happy horse shit, honestly thank god other people can figure out how to protest. I have yet to ever be that passionate about anything that I want to stand around in a circle and bitch about it.

Now get off the politics and back to the blogging and the tree's!

Ya know, I consider myself a sort of conservative/libertarian person - I don't have much faith in well-intentioned public policies - but the current incarnation of the Republican party is just nuts. While I'm not a big fan of the Democrats either, I do live here in the south - specifically in a town where the First Baptist Church downtown is considered the major center of political influence.

So... we end up with lots of police, one of the worst school systems in the nation, and one of the highest rates of foreclosure. There used to be some musical and cultural elements in town, but they've all been chased off because its illegal to sell alcohol within X,000 feet of a church, and every block downtown seems to have a church or two on it. Poetry clubs, coffee bars, music halls, its almost all been shut down over the last 10-15 years. Now we're wondering where all the jobs went.

Anyway, it would be a really bad thing if this kind of government spread around the whole country. Too much moralizing, too much micro-management, and not enough of just letting people make their own communities unless they've been pre-approved.

That would be far more upsetting if it wasn't so obvious the idiots are products of incest. It really is amazing when people that can't balance their own checkbooks think they are authorities on real-world issues. It is scary to see how many ignorant extremists there are.

All around the world we're living in a culture that humours the weak-willed and stupid, allowing too many concessions for them.. This means that society as a whole has to suffer because the lowest common denominator is given too much power and influence.. It's sad to watch something glorious fall to the whims of the pathetic.. :(
