I have a son in harms way daily. I don't know what he is fighting for. Where are the principles this country was founded on? Can they be found again? Are they totally obliterated? Obama can't fix the structure and problems of this country in six months... let alone six years.... at least he is trying. Will he be successful in starting the healing? Well, it is up to the citizens, I guess. Will YOU let him? Or will we keep electing officials that throw stumbling blocks every other minute? Messes aren’t made overnight. I kind of look at it as entering a job after someone who had totally screwed the job up. You can't clean it up in a day. Depending on the level of severity (which, in the case of an entire country, is pretty freaking high) it could take months or years to put things right again. Obama isn't a miracle worker, he's a man that is trying to get things done one step at a time. Plus, he also has to fight senators, congressmen, and others who are opposed to his ideas.
