hey John,
I saw a link here on Kristi’s blog and followed it over. I haven’t stopped by in a while.
This is a brilliant post!
I suppose a key point in your post is to pick a good domain and make sure you control it, but I like the two other points that stand out (among many)…
1. Take care of your court.
2. And the key to a happy house is realizing the Queen is always right!

I'm not sure that I've ever wanted to be King. That would require more effort than I have time to allow for. I am quite content being one of the blogging nobles who shares hes acquired knowledge with anyone who is willing to listen. Haha nice illustration of blogging and the Royal Family I particularly agree on the domain name. I started on Blogspot last year and used it for about 7 months.

Then I bought my first domain and transferred my blog. Since moving to my own domain and host, really there is the feeling of owning the whole work which was not really present back on blogspot. Its like earlier I was renting a house and now its my own house.

Would be better to have mu own server at home lol.. but this one is a bit exaggerated.

I think it has something to do with twitter users you have recently checked out via their website. I have created a couple of Twitter accounts for clients, and one of them shows up in that widget when I visit.
