So you want to be King ?

So you have been blogging for a while now and you see the current King’s reign is  getting stale and you want to make your move to be the King Of Blogging.
Domain name is the most critical issue.

You have to have a good attractive domain name pure and simple. You will never be King with a blogspot or wordpress extension so get your own Castle. The reason I can tell you some things to do to come closer in your quest to be KING is because I’m going to suggest you do the OPPOSITE of what I did
RSS feed subscribers : This is one tool that I had/have neglected. When I first started blogging not to long ago there  were BIG scam type contests etc to have people sign up for your feed. I didn’t like that or see the importance and regret it now.

A King needs alot of subjects and no KING can survive without a constant easy method to alert the people that The King has spoken.  I do a organic method, you sign up COOL if not .
See I wanted you to come to my blog not read it on Google Reader so I was mistaken and underestimated the Power of RSS

GoogleBot : Without a doubt the one way to be KING is to learn how to control the Googlebot.

I was using webmaster tools to make sure the bot is fully able to access my site. Check it out just to make sure your site is ok.  I was happy to see this on there.
Your Court Yes the most powerful resource to a King is his alliance with other Kings and people that are in your niche. My niche is Blogging and I’m very fortunate to know some great bloggers and Some I know are well on their way to be KINGS/ Queens
Queens : The most powerful piece on the chess board is the Queen. I had many difficulties with my Queen over the time I have been blogging. The fact that you have support from your family and friends in real life will  make your journey to KINGDOM alot easier.
Pure Juice not from concentrate A good King thinks of other people and not just himself.

I see many MOST Kings of Blogging err in this and don’t  make any real effort to help people. Why people flock and idolize these people is beyond the SCOPE of this POST
Just take it from me it’s does pay off in the end to keep sticking your hand out. Yes many people may blow you off or be scared of you or whatever their trip is but a real King doesn’t sweat shit he can’t change
So you want to have the Best Blog in the Universe ?

Well I can write more but since I don’t want to be KING I will just say that this domain name has hurt me. Although I love POT and have no problem admitting it that doesn’t mean people aren’t going to ASSUME they think they know what your about and shun U but who cares really. I often am glad when I see they are some fake ass guru or MLM person so it’s cool with me.
So maybe I will just make this the Best Blog about POT and use my other blog Bloganese for a more generic approach to being the KING

1 A King learns from his mistakes and moves on
2 A King takes care of his people
3 A King doesn’t have to Brag about stats and other trivial things on his site.
4 A King concentrates on challenging his weaknesses like my freestyle post. A King will make a good effort and not just write a bunch of stuff because he just smoked a BIG ASS joint of weed
5 A King always says Thank You. If you have people saying nice things about you and you don’t bother to say anything YOU WILL NEVER BE KING
6 The Queen is always right

Blogging (my definition) is a hobby that allows you to share ideas and make friends with people from all over the world.  Blogging has changed my life and although I will never be King I’m very grateful for finding something that keeps me busy enough to stay out of trouble and meet so many cool people from around the world.

So do you want to be KING ? Be honest you know you do but are you willing to do what it takes? Also what are some mistakes you made that you can share and corrections you made ?
