I wanted to share real quick about something I found very strange.
Here in San Antonio Texas we just set a new all time record for the number of days in a row that have reached 100 degrees at 36 with more on the way.
But what I found weird is another city in America that I have ties with and where my daughter lives Rochester NY just experienced it’s second COLDEST July on record.
Your thinking well so what, they are so far apart what difference does that make ?
To me it just seemed weird to have those two opposites collide at the same time
that’s all ![]()
I wanted to know if weather affects your activities and have you experienced any of these extremes ?
For me since there is not much to do around here but smoke weed all day it has just caused me to stay in this small ass apartment more.
Last night we played Uno and I have to admit it was alot of fun and my son had a ball. I watched him as he must of thought, I’m doing something with both my parents and thought it was sad that this doesn’t happen often ![]()
But we can learn to make changes and do things that are really important. Uno is a cool simple card game and we had alot of fun try it sometime ![]()
I need to get out more. I have been wanting to meet some of these so called social media people here in San Antonio.
Yesterday was this San Antonio MLM guru’s birthday and I messaged him on twitter to say Happy Birthday and got no response, nothing surprises me here. It’s like being on another planet compared to where I’m from
New York City and Key West both of which I miss dearly.
So my other question is do you have local support for your blogging and do you mix it up with these people ? I wanted to know if this kind of networking is happening all over ?
I know as far as blogging and the internet it would be way different if I lived in Austin but when your determined it doesn’t matter where you are. That is one of the many things that I like about blogging I can go anywhere ![]()
I was actually talking with this guy from Morocco today about blogging. That has to be the coolest thing about the whole adventure is to feel like you have friends from all over the world.
I’m going to tearing it up during this month of August so try to keep up
LOL
thanks for stopping BY ![]()
Has where you live made your blogging easier ? Do you have local support ? Peace
Just for the hell of it here’s another weird thing. August 2nd is usually a sad day for me because of my grandfather’s death anniversary and I remember like it was yesterday writing like a tribute post to him on this blog last year. Well this year I feel great and still love and miss him but the point is we can see how we changed over time. Sure I wished made different decisions on many matters but overall it was a great year. Now we will have to see what I say next August 2nd.
Hopefully when we look back we can see some positive changes we have made ![]()
Have you made any changes in your attitudes since blogging ?
I USED to get upset with people for not doing what I had expected or anticipated now I just roll with the punches.

Here in Sacramento, the record stands at 7 consecutive days of 100 degrees or more. The good news is, when our area gets hot the humidity is low, which makes it less uncomfortable.
The Gulf coastal air tends to feel “hotter” because of the high humidity. By way of example, the air in Death Valley (120 degrees) is approximately the same Comfort Level as 100 degrees in Texas!!!

Yes, it has indeed been a mild summer here in PA. My pool has not even warmed up to 80 degrees…when ever it gets near 80, it seems like we get a big rain storm that dumps a load of water in..I have only had to run the hose into it maybe twice this year. So very wet and cool this summer. Hope it cools off in Texas so you get some outdoor time John.

In Chicago, I just read that our average temp in july was only 69 degrees. Scary.
John we’ve had the worst summer so far here in Northern Canada it’s just been rain rain and more rain. I would take record breaking heat over rainy days anytime
It’s almost depressing!
I also seen up north north the weather is nicer… ++ 30 etc..

Yes, I’m glad I’m not in San Antonio any more. Sorry to hear
about your grandfather. Hope you made it through August 2nd
without any grief.
