Dear Sir
Please accept my willingness to become the Marijuana Czar for the United Stated of America. Here’s just a few of the things I would do with marijuana.
I would have marijuana made 100% legal. I would have farmers growing what they wanted based on demand. Marijuana is worth more then oranges and corn combined.
I would tax packs sold in cigarette form and sell special Federal Tax stamps to put on the packs.
I would finance companies that employ people in the manufacture of hemp. I would also spend money on the best uses of the waste, biofuels whatever.
I would make drugs with the ingredients from marijuana and sell it cheap.
I would of course have to sample product for purity and strength. I know this is a tough assignment but I’m ready to start work Monday.
I would use all the proceeds for the huge health care fund we are going to need.

Makes sense to me…I can only imagine how much money would come from being able to tax marijuana, if it were legal. We are in a financial nightmare here,it would help a lot…I think the the most overlooked part of legalizing marijuana is that it would totally mess up the Mexican drug cartel. I’m not saying the violence around our borders would end, but the wars over marijuana would be over…something to think about..

Sad, but the “war on drugs” has led to the erosion of so many of our rights. I do track Cannabis related issues as well as the election fraud stuff, so I found your blog quite interesting.

Helow there the about to become “Marijuana Czar”! It seems like you are big fan if marijuana yourself but yes after making it legal makeing it so popular don’t complain when you find people swaying on road blocking your way just because they are under “it” effect of Marijuana, or may be when managers goes to meetings half smiling and half sleepy and loose on a big project, or Mothers laughing horribly when there kids are crying just because they can’t see the reality and are under “it” effect of “marijuana Czar” lolss that would be really funny.

This entire article is a “pipe dream” (actually a Hash Pipe Dream…..LOL).
Obama has no plans to change Federal law on cannabis……he is leaving this issue to the individual states!
He is essentially saying: Move to one of the 13 states with medical marijuana statutes, already on the books!
One problem that I see with making it legal, as you said it would be a much more profitable crop than oranges or other food crops. It would thereby drive up the price of those crops because fewer farmers would be growing them. Or the government might need to subsidize the less profitable crops like they have done with corn.

Yeah, I really don’t get it. Marijuana is basically harmless and not legal, but alcohol is harmful, makes you aggressive, and gives you a hangover, but is legal.
I expect it will be legal eventually, just taxed VERY heavily.
