I like to think I make a decent effort visiting people’s blogs. I used to get caught up in the wanting to react if I visited someone and went out of my way for them and they failed to respond.

The greatest thing that has come from feeling like you have some real friends takes away the need to get in other people’s faces.

When I first started blogging I got into it with Danny Sullivan of Seo fame, Kevin from Bloggingtips, Darren at Problogger I wanted them and  the whole world to know hey John Sullivan is blogging. The world responded SO WHAT :)

Well reality sets in and in all fairness to anyone I bulldogged in the beginning they were on the scene for years and I should of had more respect to be honest.

Those people still won’t go out of there way and live in that realm of blogging where you just write a post and hundeds or as they say thousands respond. Well one thing I know is I have never paid anyone  to do anything  to this site. I have never sucked up to anyone and the friends I have it seems no co- incidence that they are also all friends with each other.

I measure my months by how much I make doing my affiliate sales and all that. But what’s more important and never to be taken for granted is all the cool people YEAH you that have invested their time and energy leaving me some of the best comments in the world.

I always made a promise to myself that no matter what when a person, especially a new person  emails  me and I will answer back. I’m so over if someone responds or not. If they don’t respond they are probably doing you a favor. Blogging is alot of work if your not up for it you might as well quit. If you don’t work you will end up quitting I have seen it 1000′s of times sadly.

I know others have experienced these things and they often go unsaid. But I don’t forget who had my back  and I do appreciate everything people have done for me and this site.

Thanks

John, I just started reading your blog a few days ago, but I can already tell how different it is compared to most. I can tell how heart felt you are in general, but specifically about this blog and its readers. I have gone back and read most of the articles posted over the past few months and have enjoyed everything I have read. I am looking reading everything that is posted, sounds like you got a great thing going!

I was just watching UFC for the last few weeks I have becoming a real fan.
When I was looking at Google Trends recently I noticed many references to UFC
now I can see why it’s good that you write about it so much on extremejohn.com
Thanks Brother :)

I couldn’t agree more. Our readers are the one’s that keep us (bloggers) from doing what we love to do and inspires us through their comments and I appreciate those people who leaves a comment to nofollow blogs (like mine) because its giving without expecting something in return (a page rank juice).
