My review :)

I think it’s necessary to have a product at least one month to be able to do a relevant review. I had to look very hard to find any negative remarks about this netbook. There is one it’s a fingerprint magnet that’s it.

I wasn’t surprised to see all the great reviews. It’s better then the comparable Acer mainly because it’s easier to upgrade the memory which is around $19.00 to kick it up to 2 gb.

Running the little laptop the last month I was impressed with the bottom, because I had a few laptops that had heat issues I was always checking the bottom case for any heat- NONE.

The computer is faster then my desktop. One good thing about a netbook is you tend to NOT fill it up with the normal stuff, music, files etc. The netbook is dead quiet and needs no set up other then to plug it in. I was able to get it at Best Buy for 259.00 plus tax, which is crazy since they are closing 50 retail stores because they are the Worst Buy around usually. I don’t know what it is when I go to Best Buy I always get crazy deals, it must have something to do with the employees/staff being too busy planking to care about actually working, since the CEO (Brian J Dunn) was reportedly too busy having an inappropriate relationship with a young 29 year old subordinate. As ridiculous as it may be, Best Buy’s CEO (Dunn), will probably get between $1-$3 million dollars in severance pay/stock.

I hate to admit this but you can actually check your email laying in bed with this on your chest :)

I’m not a total net addict but I’m sure you can check out your blog while on the toilet with this :)

The hard drive is fast and quiet I have not come across anything negative to say about the asus eee PC so I won’t . I also thought it was cool they included Microsoft Works for free and they have this Hybrid engine which lets  you tweak what setting you want, high performance etc. They have forums were you can change the bios and do all kinds of tweaks I will just run it factory is fine with me. When I get my money tomorrow I will probably grab the 2 gig chip although it doesn’t need it.

Have you got netbook crazy yet ? which one did you get and do you like it :)

This is perfect for bloggers whose family tries to HOG the main computer and block your flow :)

  1. Best Buy CEO Resigns says:

The prices on these devices are expected to drop substantially in the next few months. Expect prices around $150 for Brand Name devices.

I myself am holding out for a device that combines mobile wireless phone with the netbook service…..there are several competing products that will be offered by ATT, Verizon, Sprint etc.

  2. Matt@Valparaiso Pest Control says:

i love asus, and the eeeeeeeepc’s are really taking off, they are small yet powerful enough to do what most people want to do online.

Good minds think a like! I just published a review on the Asus K50IJ yesterday. Weird stuff going on! :)

  4. Extreme John@Blogging CEO says:

All though I am stuck on my MacBook Pro that doesn’t look like a bad little laptop right there.

  5. Heather@Black Dress says:

I’ve had a MAC for 3 years now and do not like it. The next computer I get I will definitely switching back to a PC. The MAC is given me issues, runs slower and was 3x as much as a comparable PC. Thanks for the reminder.

  6. Brian Dumm says:

Do you know if you can run windows media center on this? I’ve been looking for a small, cheap box to run windows 7 media center to hook up to my TV upstairs.

  7. Christina says:

Thanks for Best Buy laptop review. I just got myself a medion Akoya notebook, with some of the same specs that you mention here. Now i can easely go to the park or the beach, and still be online an blogging :)
