To be or not to be YOU

I was just outside on this beatiful peaceful Saturday morning in San Antonio thinking it’s all about MINDSET. I realized looking back over the year that I have been actively blogging that I have been the one holding me back. Because of the  many factors dealing with both success and failure I know that you may in fact be your own worse enemy.

I think it’s both funny and sad how people treat you when you have money or your  a so called “somebody”. For months no one wanted to call me. No one cared to do or say anything to assist John Sullivan EXCEPT for a small group of blogging friends which I’m forever grateful.

I knew that if I kept busy and tried not to let suckers and fake ass people distract me I would eventually break through. I didn’t want or need any kind of fame because where I’m from I was always well known. What I wanted to do is earn a living from the internet one way or another. I’m working on a business model for a new advertising agency which puts bloggers first then companies. I’m also teaching myself PHP and looking at many open source scripts because I enjoy it. I was telling my friend I may just turn this blog/site into a straight up marijuana site. POT+POLITICS is very hot right now and marijuana keywords are very easy to dominate. Those stoners may know weed but they don’t know SEO

Other then that I’m enjoying life and not kissing anyone’s ass. What more can anyone want LOL:)

Do you think in order to be successful in blogging you have to be like many of these fake ass people that care about themselves and act like they are all that ? Or do you think you can keep  it real and over time you will find out what works and what doesn’t ?
