For the last few days I have been giving some thought to the 100 day milestone. I know that is saddens me to see certain “news” channels just spew negativity. Which proves that no matter how nice you are or how good you try you will have people that aren’t grateful or respectful. They do that for a living so naturally they side with whatever idiotic topic they are ranting about that day. So what’s my point ?
Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a world where people supported each other ? Where you had real friends that were genuinely concerned about you ? Be nice huh ? The real problem is that all this POLITICS will be our undoing in the end. I’m sick of politicians and the news.
Today I was thinking how lucky I’m to live in America. I think about our troops all over the world and I would like nothing better to bring them all home. When our enemies even “think” about doing something to us I will remind them that I will drop a BIG ass nuclear bomb on you if you do that. I would work on all the problems we have here. The main problem is PEOPLE. Everyone cares about themselves if it doesn’t directly affect them they don’t care, sad huh ? I know most people will think I’m an idiot and say I’m naive “oh well”. You would think after all the years man has been killing each other we would get to the point where that was no longer an issue. Sadly we may be on the brink of horror. We need to wake up right now and do whatever we can to be a nation of Peace. I will be watching OUR President tonight; Think of good things. I will be watching in support of our President. This is a crazy world I hope we make it.
U.S. President Barack Obama will hold a prime-time news conference on Apr. 29, his 100th day in office, the White House said Thursday. The event is scheduled at 8:00 p.m. U.S. eastern time
some things to think about :
Who does not thank for little will not thank for much. –Estonian Proverb
God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say “thank you?” –William A. Ward
O Lord that lends me life, Lend me a heart replete with thankfulness! — William Shakespeare
Gratitude consists of being more aware of what you have, than what you don’t. –Unknown
We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude. –Cynthia Ozick
To know the value of generosity, it is necessary to have suffered from the cold indifference of others. –Eugene Cloutier
Finally I’m far from perfect I have a bad attitude, a lack of gratitude and so forth but I’m a FIRM believer in you can’t fix what’s not broke. Awareness is key to a new way of thinking.
I may not change the world but I can change myself….the first step is seeing the problem.

Great quotes… thank you my friend…. you keep my eyes open! Have a great day!
I’m one of the 82% of the US population who likes Obama……I’m also one of the 61% who feel that he is doing a good job as President.
First off, his policies regarding non-enforcement of Federal cannabis laws is a welcome relief to the medical dispensaries in California and other medical marijuana states.
Secondly, he has a strong work ethic (unlike his predecessor) and has only managed to play golf 1-2x during his first 100 days.
Thirdly, he has dealt with a multitude of issues and managed to come out on top EVERY TIME.
Fourthly, today’s desertion of the Republican Party by PA Senator Arlen Spector, underscores Barack’s likeability and centrist politics.
What’s not to like?
Check last week’s Dwayne Johnson’s SNL spoof of Obama…….we just might get to see a couple more of those “The Rock Obama” — I was ROTFLMAO.
Other than having a black man as president, I really don’t see any changes..ssdd..I certainly don’t envy the man. He came into office with a whole lot of crap to fix…he certainly isn’t going to do any worse than GW.
I wouldn’t have assumed anyone could just magically fix everything in 100 days. Like an above commenter says, it’s like the first 90 days of a job. Walking into an office where everything is in chaos would require time to get to know everything, fix the emergencies, then get into organizing the rest. Give him time, he’s on the right path to figuring out solutions. He’s not Houdini.

I’ve said it once and will say it again:
“I’ve gone Barack and can’t go back!”
