To each his own but I'll say this anyways. I'm guessing you've never been to any other parts of Texas before, because it you had you'd see that Texas is a very friendly and nice state. You can have your own opinion about Texas and see it the way you want too, I won't and can't say anything to change that. But I think your comment was going a little to far, and I'm saying this as a Hispanic of third generation Mexican americans. So like I said, to each his own.
