Blogging back to basics

Anyone who has blogged for a while knows that there are peaks and valleys in blogging ,  just like life itself. I have been visiting alot of well known blogs. Sometimes I wonder what is on the bloggers mind ? I think if you don’t have a clear direction of where your going it makes the whole experience more difficult then it should be.

To me blogging is fun and has been very good to me. I realized recently after going through a personal setback that I do have real friends that are/were there for me. If  I  “disappear” for a day I have a small totally awesome group of people that know something is up.  That to me is more important then page rank, all of my websites and even money. I’m going to use this blog as my personal blog. I’m going to continue to try my best to focus on the positive and help people to the best of my ability. The main point I’m trying to make and where I think that this blog is unique is that I do care about people, sometimes when I’m on a so called well known person’s blog I have the strongest impression that this person cares about one  thing  THEM :) To me that is a big turn off. Yes you may have thousands of followers, you may even have tons of success, money and prestige but to me if your not utilizing your gifts to help people then you ain’t shit :)

I know Bloggers are FAMOUS for NOT following instructions so please read this carefully :)

Please leave a comment and add 3 blogs that have had a positive impact on you THAT’S it. You can give details and all that. Look at it as a little pay it forward exercise. I can make a list of 20 right off the bat but I will share a few of my best friends and  I want YOU to know about these people.
Christina has an awesome Coffee related blog , she lives in N Carolina and from day one has just been a very special person and friend. La Tease is my oldest and best online friend. We have been there for each other and I can’t wait for the day we get a chance to hang out in REAL LIFE :) She is like a machine writing, photos, affiliate marketing all that just an awesome cool person to know. See I’m in an awkward situation right now cause I can keep writing all day  about the REAL good people I know online and if I leave you out doesn’t mean I’m not appreciating you :) I did say 3 so I will have to add a DUDE
Jacques is a young university student who I have been palling around with for about a month or so. This is the kind of person you wish lived next door. I used Google Earth one day to look at his small South African town and despite all those miles it  does seem  like he is right next door. He is working on his MONKEY blog and we have some projects we are working on and he’s a great young person check him out.
I wanted to also thank  Benny and Kristi both very cool bloggers who keep it real and I do appreciate knowing them. Each time I mention someone I think of another. The point I’m trying to make is we can let our mind FOOL us and not appreciate what WE DO HAVE. I can get depressed and feel sorry for myself but if I look at reality I wouldn’t change a thing :)
Thanks to everyone that comes by this blog Extreme John, Bradley up in Dallas, everyone

Aside from you, my friend, my top 3 favs are:

Lacy from Razor Family Farms http://razorfamilyfarms.com/
Lacy is an awesome young lady that has her head on straight. She tells it like it is. She has started down a path to adopt 4 adorable children. She “Rocks like Kiss”!

Barb from A Cowboy’s Wife http://cowboywife.blogspot.com/
Barb is a great woman who has seen many trials through out her life as a cowboy’s wife. It is a hard life. One that she gladly embraces with her cowboy. She never fails to lift my spirits.

Robbyn from The Back Forty http://homesteadingthebackforty.blogspot.com/
Robbyn is a fellow homesteader. She blogs about everything. She shares wonder tips. She lets us know how her life plans are going. She doesn’t let these horrible economic times destroy her wonderful spirit.

These are my top 3. Not listed in any particular order. They are wonderful women. I enjoy being a small part of their extraordinary lives. Please do visit them. They will only make your spirit richer.

Thank you, my friend, for this opportunity to share these fabulous women.

Thanks for the mention in your list. I can agree that, more than revenue or the number of subscribers, followers I have, I am more satisfied when I get a comment or email saying they relate to having sleep paralysis or being an emotional sponge. Knowing that I let someone out there know they are not alone in something makes me feel good about my site.

The three blogs that have given me the most inspiration are:

Evolving Beings – wisdom and enlightenment

Zen Habits – helpful information to living more simply and balanced

Postsecret – the secrets make me laugh, cry, and feel everything in between – the ones I relate to personally give me the feeling that I’m not alone in something
