There once was a man who never laughed and he never cried…
when he died his insurance was denied, because they claimed since….
He never really laughed and he never really cried, he never really lived,so he never really died” JS
I remember just writing that one day in Elmira State Prison when I was like 17. Well I wanted to write this evening and ask the question ? Do you (I) realize how lucky I really am ?
I’m going to bypass the reflections on past mistakes and go right to the heart of the matter.
With all the troubles facing the world I’m very lucky to be living and blessed to be an American born and raised in the greatest city in the world, New York City. I was an expert at stops and starts in life. Now I’m doing my best to maintain a steady path towards building a new life through blogging and making changes in my thinking. Spending thousands of hours by myself and reading thousands of blogs and traveling the world from my small apartment has me convinced that I’m in a position of freedom and a future millions of men on this planet would cherish. I waste time sometimes listening to “old tapes” . I must have abandonment issues because I often wonder why some people are no longer in my life etc. I mean for the weirdest things that are often hard to understand and to be honest very often hurt me more then I wish they would.
I’m proud of myself today. I’m glad I can say that. I would accomplish things in my past and shun any compliments because I didn’t feel to good about the “REAL ME”. I know today that I was the one to blame for not being happy and I made a lot of people around me miserable for some crazy reason.
I know that if I continue to value my freedom and future I will have the ability to make the next right decision. I like to keep my own company today that’s perhaps the greatest change and surprisingly so.
I could never function like a “normal” person. I never just sat and made a decision. I would react.
So what does this have to do with you ? Well we all have our moments of clarity. For example if you look back at one of your older blogs or an old picture of yourself, your mind usually goes to just the place you were at mentally, at the time. Blogging really has helped me in so many ways I like to share about that and let people know. I’d like to thank you for taking the time to read this, it helps me and I appreciate it.
I’m really focused on how many great people I know online. Yes it took coming across thousands and meeting many snobs and getting blown off etc. The whole premise of POTPOLITICS is how some nobody works hard and wins in the end. I don’t need fake ass friends and notoriety on Facebook as some guru scamming people with all that nonsense. No I want to own a company that changes people lives and allows me to pay it forward, just a dream now but quickly approaching…

John, I’d like to introduce you to my friend [br]
also his twin brother [br]
when they are put together after a sentence, as in : [br][br]
You will see an incredible improvement in the readability of your words on the page!
Just remember to close the gaps within the brackets.
Use “copy” and “paste” to memorize the Twins
then you only have to hit “CTRL-V” to re-duplicate the Paragraph Breaks.
Use the pointy brackets instead of the ones I used above for illustration.

I think any great blog “pays it forward” to a certain extent. It reflects an investment of yourself in a broad spectrum of people and a fleeting hope that this investment will pay dividends for both you and them. There is no doubt it is truly a transformative experience. I am glad you have brought this idea to light.

I love this blog post, JDawg. I feel like I learn a lot of myself and about my relationships with other people through blogging. It can be isolating but also very social…it’s weird like that. I like the weirdness, can you tell? PS i agree with sacremento weddings that BR would be easier on my eyes — I’m at work all day and want to read what you write without straining my poor lil’ eyes

As always John, you never cease to amaze me with your manner of inner growth and depth. And yeah, going into ‘09, you could use those brackets that Sacramento Weddings mentioned. I use Blogger, so I don’t have those issues. LOL…love ya like a brother, take care!
John – not sure what to say except that I always feel better after reading your posts. Keep truckin’ mate. Like the idea of Greenshield too – please keep us posted!
