unfortunately I think you might be like me (chip on shoulder)
my chip has been costing me big time, but I’m handling it. (less chip, cause more success).

I agree with the one way blogger part of your post. Everyone is out for themselves and screw the rest of us. My blogs are blogspot off the shelf, I figure there is a way to edit the code to make mine do follow but that’s beyond my xml coding skills (and I’d have to add askimet to boot)

Wondering about your thoughts on a plugin that follows after a person has made an x about of comments. I began using Lucia's Linky Love plugin and was "unfollowed," on Twitter by a person, (actually a site), which only follows do-follow blogs. His explanation: The plugin didn't count because it was hard to "prove" I was following comments. Keep in mind, the plugin is endorsed by some of the biggest do-follow bloggers.
