Kodak from hero to straight zero

Recently in between those awesome Shamwow ads I have been happy to see Kodak running informercials for their ESP5 printer it was all the rage the cost of ink was low and it’s wireless so I watched with interest.
About a week later and right after Christmas they ran the same ad but now incredibly the price was reduced to 99 dollars. I dialed their 800 number grab my credit card and was ready to do business.
The lady on the phone was in the United States very nice lady and I told her so. As the call was wrapping up she said if you want we can sell you a second one right now for 50 dollars I said BET.
So we went through the order I thanked her and waited.

The boxes arrived a week later and I set them aside. I planned to send one to my daughter who actually lives in Rochester .Today I was looking at the boxes and decided to open one. Well right off the bat the second FREE ink cartridge wasn’t there and as I slide the unit out I could see it didn’t have the screen that you can see your  pictures to edit.  I also knew this wasn’t wireless. I felt like I had basically the same printer as the crappy dell I have already. I was sad to see MADE IN CHINA and Mexico on everything.
I grabbed the info paper and 15 minutes later someone picked up in the Philippines tried to explain the situation and the lady was very nice and trying her best I asked to speak to a supervisor. Now bear in mind that there’s millions of people right here in America that I should of been talking to and NOT to the other side of the world. So next stop I get some clown in Argentina who sounded like he was in a helicopter. He goes on to say that I had what I ordered. I explained more then once that it’s illegal to advertise one thing and send another. He just said I got what I ordered so I asked to speak with a supervisor after waiting 15 minutes and no answer I emailed a support address and as of yet haven’t received a response. Now I tried to put myself in a customers shoes and if that was my experience as a customer in the United States I wouldn’t do business with Kodak anymore period. I can send the boxes back and I can waste alot of time calling all over the world. I can afford to take the loss but can Kodak?  They  advertised the ESP5 BUT  they send you the ESP3 and then just to prove they knew they did you wrong they don’t include the free ink cartridges. That’s not the Kodak that used to be BELIEVE THAT oh well. Now when I was working there if you asked  if I thought Eastman Kodak can reduce to 5000 employees in Rochester and loose all that money HELL NO   America is in BIG trouble Obama better hurry up cause shit is critical.
