This is a great post and all though I have not been a daily reader for very long this post is my favorite yet. Blogging is one of those things for me that I do for numerous reasons, not one of those reasons is for money. Over the past 8 years I ran some of the most popular sites on the internet, I sold my companies in April and since than this Blogging thing has become more of a daily outlet and addiction than I ever would have thought. I agree with you on this post: blogging is not about being number one or making a certain amount of money. You have to love what you do for it to stay interesting and ultimately be rewarding (financially or otherwise).
