Google Page Rank update

Tonight leave it to Google to start the New Year with an update.I don’t think this blog will do to good as I gave away all my link juice :)I guess we will see if do follow was the way to go.Right now at 12:42 am I’m showing no page rank info available. Like Christmas morning all the “children” around the world will wake up some will be Happy some will be sad 
Good luck .I always love going around after a update listening to bloggers that have a PR2 or less saying Page rank is irrelevant .Well I won’t be one of those if they take mine they can have it. I’m actually working on some other blogs for 2009 so well we shall see. Good Luck
Please feel free to share your results and get some do follow backlinks, I was a little nervous and actually was prepared for a zero because of all the links I followed for people. Well looks like I stayed a 4 and that’s fine by me.

Big quantity of outgoing links can’t hurt your PR if you gained authority and have enough incoming links. Proof for that can be news related sites like Digg…
Btw.. this PR wasn’t so successful for me..

I managed to go from 3 to 4. What I am really pleased about is the fact that some of my internal pages are now on 2s and 3s. All round, I’m happy. Nice way to start the new year. I am sure a lot of this came about because of your assistance, thanks a lot. Happy New Year.

We went from a PR4 to a PR6, J/K. We went to a PR3 and my backlinks have doubled since the last round of updates so who knows what works and what doesn’t. I still have a lot of traffic and 12% coming from Search Engines so I am grateful.

Page Rank still matters regardless of what Google would like you to believe.
But when Google talks people listen.
Woohoo, my site went up from 0 to 3 and has only been up since August. Don’t know if thats really good, but I’m happy.
Just wanted you to know that my page rank is still the same and I signed up for the neverblue today. I am thankful for all your help and you really are one the good guys. Not too many of those still around.

I use to put a ton of focus on the page ranks, than I decided to just do my thing and let it be what it is. I enjoy my blogs a lot more this way than I did before.

No change on blog or homepage, stayed at 3. But saw some inner pages improve.
Howevcer, this is really incidental as i did a redirect for blog/date/post to blog/post. All ‘new’ pages are indexed and cached but SERPS disapeared. Hoping the SERPS will return and would swap that for my PR

Well PR does matter, what might not matter much is the PR that you see via the toolbar or some other site tool that calculates it. Just get links, quality links, and you will do fine, don’t focus on the actual PR number you see. Focus on your rankings and SE traffic. Our PR statyed the same in this update.
As far as giving outbound links that’s not going to effect your sites PR really, it will have a much larger effect on the value of the links you have to other sites.
I think I’ve got this PR thing figured out. In only two months I have rocketed from no PR to PR0. If I can double it again in two months I’ll be at…. wait a minute zero x 2 is still zero. Oh well. I’m in the “PR doesn’t matter that much” camp right now.

I finally got my much-deserved PR 4 — after over one year being stuck at PR 3. It took a lot of perseverance, and steady link building. What a great New year’s present from Google!

I do not know if Google updates the pagerank, but I already has over 1 years with a PR4, every time Google does not put it more difficult to attract visitors to our site, Google wants all the web traffic for them, is not just be left to compete and I am trying to get by with Google Adsense.Pero really earn a pittance if you have it 5 to attract more visitors.

how many links are necesary to get a high pagerank?
Google updated the toolbar page rank again on 2 April 2009.This time they filtered more back links. Previously i have around 70 now i have just 10 back links left for my site http://www.cybex.in. But site rank well on all top keywords. It seems google backlinks scheme updated too. It still loves article links as i did for my site.
