Social Networking 101 revisted

Depending on what your online goals and the kind of person you are will determine  where you should  target your efforts. I should really practice what I preach I would justify coming across a great social networking site and move on because my only motivation was to blog about it.

Well after coming across countless people and social networking sites. Most of these sites and the hi and bye encounters have left me thinking . Yeah we’re “friends”   NOW WHAT?  But then I was watching a show on TV that showed the migratory animals and I thought to myself Bloggers are like that. I’m not sure why after people make a great contact they move on. I’m just as guilty myself and also confused.
I have been putting more weight on what I haven’t been doing then wasting time thinking how this one didn’t do this or DOESN’T the world realize how wonderful I’M yeah ok so let’s brake down a few characters that I have come across.

The owner/employee I’ve come across countless sites where the site might be nice but the owner wasn’t. One asset that I have is if you say something to me I’m going to respond I don’t get how people get so full of themselves over a lame ass site anyway.
Now many people I have come across on places like Digg, which is the hardest to get to know anyone on there in a real way, Facebook reminds of a post I wrote along time ago : Facebook the 5000 friends I didn’t know I had. I have come across many of these new wave gurus(scammers) that have a video of them bragging about this or that. When you check out their site their stats don’t match their bragging rights. If your into SEO as a career at least have more then a PR2 blog.
So how does one go about finding their niche? The solution that fits for them ? How should I know?  If I did I’d be on Facebook telling suckers what’s up I’d be your Life coach~ Coach me baby But seriously you will know Where you fit in. Some people like Benny fit  in  anywhere he can pop on the scene and be considered an old timer in no time. Myself I had more difficulty because I don’t buy into all that guru crap. I like real people who can back up what they say. Your blog doesn’t impress me but your actions or lack thereof does That’s how I measure I don’t care if you have 20,000 followers on Twitter. I have found many of those people to be over rated legends in their own mind. I don’t care how successful you may become if you don’t have time to respond or you think your all that cause you wrote some lame ass book give me a BREAK

List the social networking profile your most proud of. The one that you worked hard to set up.

Here’s what I would do if I needed some page rank and to get myself out there in social media. I would leave a comment here with the social networking profile your most proud of. I would join FURL and submit post to their PR7 REALLY DO FOLLOW site. I would add John Sullivan as my friend on Stumble, Facebook and Twitter and I would offer to do a keyword  filled  post about some blogging tips on POTPOLITICS. I’d mention in the comment section the topic I’d like to guess post about so they can get in touch with me. I would submit my post to John ’s DO FOLLOW PR4 site on MIXX. I’d use the entrecard tool bar as a way to easily visit many blogs in specific categories to leave comments on, perferably DO FOLLOW blogs. I would use this tool to check all my backlinks and see just who is do follow and focus on those blogs mainly. I would bookmark all my post to social browse, if you get any traffic from those highly evolved techno geeks then you know you have a HOT POST because they see them all. Right now the hottest social networking site to me that I’m not using  is Utterli, I joined a while back and true to form acknowledged their awesomeness and moved on. This site is really so new and the best kept secret.  So check it out they have many great tools for bloggers. I’ll end for now as far as the original post that had a contest for 250. I wrote it sent it out took a nap and a few hours later had no response so I said I’ll be the winner of that one The social networking environment is not one easy to figure out. I do know that I appreciate the people that stop by and without them this blog wouldn’t exist.
