Now I wanted to tell you one thing I don’t care if you agree or disagree. I was going to write  a post called “Maybe we should vote for Mc Cain”. As I have been watching the news and knew months ago Obama was going to win I did have the faith that the America people would have a societal awakening. After years of materialism and selfishness I figured people have had enough but I don’t think so. The whole success of the Barack Presidency is that PEOPLE will change and stop being so fucking self centered. I was thinking today about sharing how much I have lived on this year and it’s not much. I also have never had such peace and I even gave up drinking. But it saddens me to think that the people of my beloved country won’t wake up. I’m not perfect and I was telling my wife tonight that it amazes me how easy it is to see what others do wrong and be blind to our own wrongs. Believe me I do tons of things wrong. But I like to think that one thing I do right is care about people. It is crazy that in this world people that care about people get shit on and scumbags prevail. I always thought that was a strange thing. So what’s my point?

Look our government is OUT of control. The people of this nation are in a coma and apparently won’t do anything about it. Thank God Obama cares about people and he may get lucky and be able to snap the people of this great nation out of “IT”. See your probably  in that group and saying what is this dude talking about ? What I’m talking about is you don’t live in a democracy or a Republic or a Constitution based nation, you live in a POLICE STATE a huge bureaucratic government run Nation that does whatever it wants around the whole world and many young people lost their lives for that. America is a crazy nation and it’s not hard to see why we are not in the good graces of many places now. Since the 1960’s America has been a socialist nation you can call it what you  want but that is what it IS.

If you think you live in a FREE Country your kidding yourself. I have alot of freedom because I have no dealings with the government PERIOD. I don’t ask them for nothing and they leave me alone. I love America and the people here but we need to wake up. The best way and a thing we can do that is in all our power is to reach out to each other and snap out of that ME crap. The majority of people that I have seen chase a buck or whatever end up miserable and divorced in the end.

I don’t think I’m anti American to want universal health care for all Americans if we got money for bombs we have money for LIFE.
