“Blogging is all about building. If your not building your not blogging” ABB
The internet is full with a massive amount of information for bloggers. I googled “blog traffic” and came across a little google feature that I never saw before. Google trends offers some powerful suggestions on topics to blog about. With most of the world using google this let’s you peer right inside the heartbeat of the whole internet. Now if you can’t translate that information into some long tail keyword style post I don’t know what to tell you
Now when I was writing alot about the google bot awhile back it was alot of fun to experiment. It was even more fun to see the results in the top 10 on the first page. But what searches will produce that traffic?
Problogger, who I’m a big fan of has just about all the top spots for well known keywords like blogging tips and blog etc. So what keywords would help your blog ?
I was messing around with search for “best blog in the universe” and ” pure juice not from concentrate” and you can google those to see the results. Basically what I’m saying is if your looking for that landslide of free organic traffic then I suggest you look at google trends and start blogging about things that people search.
I was speaking with a awesome blogging friend earlier and I just said hey I need a title to post about.
She said “patience” I did like that idea but when I think of bloggers like a wild heard of buffalo charging off to wherever they are trying to go I said who needs patience ? But much of blogging is patience. Blogging is far from what I thought it was going to be. I needed something to stay out of trouble so it helped. It filled in that gap that kept me out of the bars and raising hell. So I have no complaints at all really. But I did think it would of been some blogger love feast with my do follow people popping by and friends made over the months stopping by but for the most part it is none of that. In fact I don’t really know who comes to this blog. I was thinking the other day to do a post about treating visitors like fish. I love fishing and I know when a bait isn’t working.
I catch alot of fish and I wanted to share about google trends so you can catch better fish
I don’t really think of you as a fish but I like the analogy.
I see alot of bloggers kind of stuck on where they are going. Now that I make some good money will I still have that crazy passion I had those first few months? Like when I would get blogovers
I just went to that blog and that brought back some memories. See millions of blogs are made but very few will get to the top.
So what are your goals? What are you looking to get out of blogging? Are you ready to quit ?
I have seen countless people on fire one minute and floating the next. Are you going to do what it takes to reach your goals? I do think that blogging takes patience. There’s alot of distractions and ways to waste time.
But I promise you one thing if you take some time and look at that google trends you will be well on your way. Also I know people have mixed feelings about the feedjit widget mainly that it takes up a lot of space. Well let me tell you that is a valuable source of search information, whenever you see a visitor from the search engines click back to see what words they used to search. If I catch some keywords that are HOT I work them into the MIXX.
Here’s some thing that might help; Join our “Bloggers Group on Facebook ” it’s a new group but there’s some awesome people on there so reach out and make a new blogging buddy without friends you might as well hang it up. Keep your chin up. Please feel free to comment <<(big time search word maybe one of the most powerful)>> on any tips , tricks suggestions or just about you and your blog Thanks.
This blog has do follow, comment luv and keyword luv so spit it out
and “who is Joe the Plumber” ? I know Joe the weed dealer
I really don’t have much to say about the debate I thought both men did their best and it’s now up to the American people to choose what direction they want the country to go.
Thanks for stopping BY
