I was thinking back to when I started blogging in 2007. Wow that seems like a lifetime ago.Well shortly after POTPOLITICS broke out and played a large part in me having whole different lifestyle. I used the money that I made from that blog and promoted BLOGANESE which also became quite a hit. What I also did first was studied Google Adwords instead of being disappointed with how things were going I studied. Once I had the money I tested campaigns that weren’t the typical affiliate scam stuff. No for some reason I had the idea that steak, yes steaks was something that America was known for and I knew there was rich people all over the world that would appreciate the best beef in the world. So things immediately took off and I was able to keep my word to my family and I hired some of them and looked out for some others. I was able to open that job training center in San Antonio that teaches young people technical skills to get high paying jobs. 97% of the kids that graduated the program work for me now and it’s been a real joy to see. I was able to write the books that I always wanted and I went back to Key West and bought with cash the house that I always dreamed would be mine one day. The first time I ever went on this property I had an strange sense when I looked at an area behind the poolhouse right on a little porch by the pool, it was like a voice whispered that’s where it will be and I felt a strange peace. Well I own that house now and believe that if I kept my motives clear and put in the effort I would make it here and that I would only benefit by hopefully not one day soon being able to pass from this life in peace. I did have a strong sense that I was very old physically so that’s comforting.

Well I’m sorry if your a little confused but I wanted to share a little about my dream and some of the many positive and great things about blogging. Well the best things for me personally is I don’t drink anymore and if that is all the world gets back for all my efforts that will be enough. In the 9 months I had a chance to learn alot of things about myself. I realized through reading some of my friends blogs that I had a real shitty attitude and I was a wreak. Just months prior I was living like a savage and I had completely given up on everything and everyone. So I was lucky and from the streets of Rochester I was able to talk my wife into giving me one more shot and came to San Antonio. Thank God she did because I would be dead right now or in prison for life. That would of been a real tragedy because I always knew somewhere deep down I was a good guy but I let my own bad judgment and an unrealistic perspective of life destroy everything. I had periods of my life (SOBER) where they were great. But the world was just about to give up on John Sullivan and his merry go round life. People were tired and I was definitely tired. Thank God my tolerance for alcohol was zero. I was beat down and I knew that whenever I drank something bad was going to happen. I was dangerous and mentally whacked. Blogging came into my life at just the write time. People never mention all the thousands of hours we spend doing our thing as we learn all the many cool things about blogging. Well it was prefect for me to slip into another dimension and create my own reality. I like all the ” trying to get to work” with the widgets and lines of code. I’ve come to love checking out the next cool thing. And I love sharing that with people on here like I got it first. It’s the kid in me I guess. It’s also the caring part of me. I could of choose faster and easier ways to make money but this was best for me. It kept me so busy I just stayed out of trouble and I began to meet some cool people. I have a very demanding confrontational attitude but that’s not the real me and I’m actually pretty shy and awkward. I often have unrealistic expectations on myself and others. If someone hurts my feelings I take it personal. But I let it go. I don’t look for trouble today. I just want to start to really enjoy life. I like to meet people from all over the world and I have meet some great people. I do plan on continuing to try new things and work at a full pace. In fact once my son goes back to school I will be able to launch my show on Ustream and do some videos. I’m looking to help as many people as I can. I love checking out blogs and I’m often amazed at all the skill and talent I see. I study blogs so on the show I will able to hopefully sound like I know something . Hopefully people will enjoy it. The bright side of blogging was always there. As I look back I have many great memories. I do have some good friends that I know if I reached out to would help me. I’m able to spend alot of time with my son.That is probably the best part that I was able to have freedom and able to spend time with my boy. How much better could it be. Money or lack of money could never make that any better. If things go as they are starting I will look back to these days as probably the best less stressful days.The good old days as we call them. And you ? Well I hope that you continue on your path and concentrate on how best to achieve that goal and if you ever need John Sullivan to give you a little push I’ll be right here waiting on ya;)

PS I wanted to mention that I’m really digging the new wordpress I have used the repost feature more then once and I’m now blogging with the BEST editor I tried them all > I like some for whatever but each other basically sucked. I’d have 4 browser and windows live writer and scribef ire open to do the different things to navigate around the various defects etc.So I was going to keep this to myself to the next post where I get right back to the cutting edge of all social media and tell you how I’m Locking down Facebook;) Slowly is better. Anyway you can google w.bloggar 4.02 and experience the best full featured powerful editor I have ever seen. Man I should of got some paypal for that one;( It’s awesome check it out;) Peace
