Blogging across America — Welcome to POTPOLITICS

First I want to say that I’m an American and 100% Proud to be.I was just listening to an Army ad about a new program to help troops get up to $40,000 to buy a house about time.I support our troops 100% and wish they were home years ago. Or better yet didn’t go to begin with.

Today in San Antonio Toyota announced they will be closing their relatively new plant for 90 days.ATT which is headquartered here announced last week,they will be moving all there executives to Dallas,I wrote a post about it titled “The Politicians in San Antonio ought to be ashamed of themselves“.So the reason I’m saying this is because I want you to know that I care very much about America as I’m sure we all do.

Let me tell you the things that have led us to our present societal conditions.Selfishness and people being phony.Look at the example of Jesse Jackson acting towards Obama as a friend and then when his back was turned,he went right to talking smack.This is a common condition now.There’s very little cohesion in our society and it is scary.

Back when America was a great place it was because there was GREAT AMERICANS,think about how we live off their legacies,their commitment to family and community.We must do something now.We can do it and we will.I’m glad that Obama is going to win,not that he is perfect but I believe he sees what I see and he has it in his heart to do something about it.Unfortunately in this crazy world you have to navigate a lot of idiots to get to be president.Be nice if we found regular citizens that had the best interest of Americans in their agenda but that isn’t the case.

I was recently talking with a friend about everything and he kept emphasizing to think about the POSITIVE in people.I came up with an idea that once my kid is back in school.I’m going on the ROAD,that’s right you read a lot of stuff on blogs about how to get people to come to your blog,well I’m going to take that to the next level and COME right to you.Blogging across America will start in Austin,then I’m going to New Orleans,then heading towards Savannah Georgia cause I have been hearing a lot of great things about Savannah,then I want to go met this guy in Nashville,the homeless guy who now has a well known blog.I want to meet bloggers that write about America or any other positive cause.I want to interview them in their struggle and highlight them on here and a blog that I will make soon.

My reasons are many and I hope that you fall into the group of people that I will meet.I will be doing a lot of video.So anyone that has any ideas,people to suggest meeting.Some leads on some sponsorship,I will be getting a 60day pass for greyhound and bringing camping gear.I will not stay in a hotel.I’m going to leave with a backpack,laptop,camera,some ID and a bus ticket and a cell phone,that’s it.

I feel a need to express my love for America by taking some action and to prove that there are good people out there and I’m going to go meet them.Stay tuned for details.Thanks and God Bless America.See you soon:)
